Good afernoon my favourite Waffling Wattlers Hi Hz...I realised a long time ago that you have to have short breaks away from your kids so you get the chance to miss them. Mark came home from a school trip to Canberra when he was in year 9. A new white Billabong long sleaved jumper had grass stains all down the back and one sleeve. Evidently while returning from an outing one evening the kids asked the teachers if they could stop and look at the parliament house by lights. This huge purple bus (from Grafton) disgorged all these teenages out next to the building at 9:pm. The teachers then said the kids could run up the grass slope...you know the one over the building? The kids then had races up the slope and rolled down the slope. That is until the security guards came out and told the teachers off. They all piled back in the bus and beat a hasty retreat. Soooo...it's not your kids you have to worry about...it's the teachers. That was also the trip they left the principals son behind at the war memorial and when a boy fell while ice skating, they didn't take him to hospital until the next day because they thought he was puuting it on. He had a broken leg. Have I worried you enough about school trips? Don't worry...she'll be fine. Mary...nice to hear you are having such a relaxing time in canbera. Anna...digital cameras are great. I borrow Marks sometimes and they are pretty well idiot proof. You're right...the screen needs to be big. Lew Lew...only 4 sleeps. Are they giving you a big send off party? Next week your real life starts. Hi Kaz from theUK. Have you tried counting sheep to help you sleep? I hope you finally get off to the land of nod. Sandra...did you get any photos of you and your daughter on the bridge? It's an experience you'll remember for a long time. SuzyQ....what sort of cookies? Choc chip or plain? There is a section in programmes....accessorries....system tools....disc clean-up. And another wa through control panel....internet settings (I think). Someone might be able to give you better directions. Rebs...you might end up a 'Lady who lunches' if you go to too many of these Wattle meets...pmsl It would be good to see you if you can get to the GC. I've spent most of the morning setting up my new toy. I didn't realise how comfortable I was with the old '98' untill I started using this one. EVERYTHING looks, behaves and is different. Still a challange is good...keeps me on my toes and my brain agile. I'm missing something...aaahhh...I know, coffee. I'll be back love Trifley x

Rebs DONT TAKE THE BUS.. unless you want to get busriders cramp..it is a terrible trip and I will never do it again.. I have done it a few times and in the end decided that I didnt need this torture..You arrive feeling like s....t and that is strong language for me...If you can get a lift that would be lovely and we would love to see you.. Pick up SusyQ on the way and you all should arrive safely.with Susie to look after you ..LOL Why am I getting this b...y BINGO game on the side of the page.. It is driving me silly. Is it new as I didnt get it when I was on my puta at home..UUUGGGGHHHH... Must go and let the dog in.. why havent they got a dog door I can hear you say... would be lovely but this mut is so big if they built a dog door it would let in every burgular in town. He is a beautiful Newfoundland and his head is bigger than mine..LOL and if he stood up on his hind legs he would be taller than me to. He is adorable though and he loves company.. Fed up with all the crap on Gen, so I don't look there anymore if I can avoid it. Just refresh wattle page to catch up with replies. Would have wet myself had I inadvertantly got the big one. lolololol !!!

So much for a sunny day in Queensland. The heavens have just opened and I have towels on the line. I am guessing that they will still be there tomorrow, enjoying an extra rinse or two.

okay, just looked up trans info while I ate my sanga. I'd have to leave home at 6.30 to be on the 6.45 bus. Think I might give this one a miss folk. Not sure our bathroom could cope wth 4 peeps trying to get out the door at the same time. And you know how hard it is to get men out the shower in the mornings. Oh well, always next time.

I will definately enjoy such a big noughty number. I am undecided how to celebrate. Should I open a bottle of Nicole's left over champers, ( Keith doesn't drink you know LOL ) or maybe I will buy some new bling to commemorate the occasion. Decisions decisions. Think I may have to lie down SuzyQ

Hiya Folk.......have I missed much ??? LewLew, no pics of me on photo pages please. Unless of course I look irrisistibly gorgeous...............and that aint gonna happen. lol !!! Caught up with Lara on the phone yesterday. Hopefully arrange a day for lunch this week. Talking with her on the phone is like reading her posts, only with volumn. You hang up the phone, then remind yourself to breath. Gotta love her. lol !! Heather, my 17 yo cleaned her room for the first time in what must have been an eternity, 'cause she unearthed my entire bath towel collection from the rubble. Mind you, she had been studying for her first lot of uni exams, so I guess I can let her off the hook. Not sure if I can make the GC meet. Pain in the proverbial to get there from Redcliffe. Bus, train, another train, then what do I catch at the other end? Bus to GC if I remember rightly? Anyway, I'll look into it, but no promises.
