Hi Joods, mine's underactive so take tabbies for it and yes did stack on the weight, thought when the tabbies kicked in it would all drop off like magic, nah! didn't happen, keep meaning to do more exercise but seem more drawn to the puta, I have really nice slim fingers though! lol Jillx

Hi Joods, just tippy toeing in, diabetis and hp runs amok through my family so far so good with me but get tested every year, my thyroid decided to misbehaive( b--g-r) Ive decided to give up on the spelling) I just write from the heart, no dictionary in there, where was I ? ah yes Thyroid, was feeling, not tired exacty but I suppose I just lacked motivation, went to Dr. for normal diabetic etc. tests and found out thyroid not working properly, there are a lot of people out there with the same condition and don't know it, so have your thyroid tested next time! words of wisdom from Dr Jill. oh no not another Dr in the house.Jillx

Hi Jude - yes, hot soup I'm having, went out to lunch today, so dont feel like a full meal. I noticed Lew had been quiet - maybe its those last 5 files that have been keeping her busy, after all - ITS ONLY 3 MORE SLEEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suzy, laughing at the chickens walking into the house!!! Seems we have quite a few diabetics among us, or else someone in the family with it. .. Touch wood, I have escaped it and blood pressure also. Jood

Quick message agian, I am very late today, the chickens are coming in to the house looking for their food. Thanks for all the help with the cookies. I have finaly got rid of them. I have also cleaned up and defragmented. That took all morning and then we went grocery shopping after lunch. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 7 years ago and control it best with the low GI diet. I was doing very well until I hurt my back, then I had to stop the daily 5k walk, piled on 10kg plus and now I need to take medication. I am just getting back into the walking so I hope when I start to lose some weight I can reduce the meds. Really must go, catch up tomorrow Luv SuzyQ

Hi yellow fluffy things, Wilson and Joods sending lots of healing thoughts your way, Rain had GF as a teenager, I think they called it the kissing desease (sp) when they get it at that age she got over it quite quickly but it's different when your an adult, not very nice at all. My mum was diabetic she was diagnosed with it when she was going through menapause so I have a bit of an understanding of the wretched condition, my georgeous mum, only died last year, at the age of ninety, what a character! oh dear just reread, sorry Wilson I didn't mean your D has been going around kissing lots of adults, please forgive if it sounds like that, Jill trying to type while getting both feet out of mouth. will creep back in later. Sounds like a good idea Lew - I had a late afternoon nap - dead to the world I was, for half an hour (that makes up for some of the sleep I didn't have last night) - but you're right, a nice hot shower will do wonders. goes off *singing in the rain, Im just sinnnnnging in the rain* Oooops ..... shower! I'll go and see what I can find but I don't subscribe to Ancestry so not sure how much I can view :) Obviously they went back earlier than we thought. Vonny, your lot are on Ancestry look for a John B Metcalfe b. Australia (Sydney) c 1845, he's there in 1881 and 1891, in London with family - and there's a William C Metcalfe b c 1849 Sydney in 1881 ? vessel Cheshire ? I just looked at index quickly, hope they're them. Aren't girls a pain though, they will have married I suppose... Had a giggle at Maid Marion wondering if she'd understand Tony & Barb's accents - I reckon after all that time in the 'heeeelands' none of us might understand their accents lol. I have the joy of driving the van which won't fit in the garage and the other morning at 5.30am I had a devil of a time melting the ice and getting wipers going before it all froze up again lol. We have lots of patchy fog in this area too, mostly there's a patch over my house! It does clear by 11am ish and then all the planes can leave, but boy by 4pm you can feel the cold come down again. But - the days are getting longer now better go ~waves to all~ Hz (who should be doing stuff for end of fin yr too...boring)

Happy tuesday Wattlers, there's no way I'm going back 20 pages to catch up on all the chatting so if I've missed anything really important I'll rely on some one to let me know. I gather we didnt win the big one on saturday as you are all still here..lol My turn this week and I bought the ticket on lucky june 13th and gave Tony a copy. I think he was going to organise for someone to email it through if he couldn't do it. Have we heard from our travelling duo? Lew is the desk packed up yet?
