Afternoon all Hope the luncheon goes well, Lew. Have a few more drinkies and that will cure any hangover from yesterday. Looks like everyone had a great time at your party. A few sore heads and worn out feet this morning. Vonny, beautiful day here on Bribie. Hope you have a safe trip and enjoy. You do have the little wattler to look after you. Mary, when you start packing, just do one room at a time. Easier to keep everything together then. Jude2 - fingers double crossed for tonight. I went and saw the first production of Boy from Oz with Todd Mckenny (? sp) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Jood, can you send me the frog thing please. I know what I am having for lunch. Son has just finished shelling some sand crabs and tonight we are having fish and prawns. Yummeeeeee !!!! I did notice you gave Dr Lew some more titles but she will probably tell you, they were already hers anyway and that she earned them. Yvette, what are lemon polenta cakes. Pretty obvious that I have never tried them. Gwenda, you poor b****r. Take a deep breath, in through the nose (raising both arms as you breathe in) and out through the mouth - repeat 6 times. Gee, I'm beginning to sound like Dr Lew . Was checking out Lauries email just this morning, and those bl*****y things were spinning for me - and I thought I was cool, calm and collected. When and where are you off to, that you need your passport? Can someone please tell me again (CRAFT) how to change the name on the messages to the thread. The little duck |

just did one lot of cakes, had a test , they are fine, used lsa mix for 1/2 the almonds. oh says yum. thanx for the offer of the almonds suzy, but you could make them into something nutritous and yummy too. i quite like washing.even hanging it out. i don't iron much as my work clothes don't require it. oh does his and youngest male child's- they have all the shirts and pants. the other 2 can do it themselves. youngest male child is quite good at ironing too if he has to. there are some funny ones posting threads. is it because they have a different sense of humour on the other side of the world? love yvette |

Annoying tho just the same, when you plan your day and it doesnt go that way. .. *tongue in cheek* that's what I'm like when my computer goes on the blink, but now I have an old lappy and a new one, so I don't freak out quite so much! Jood |

Thanks Jood - typical tho - work all week, get Saturday off and stupid machine goes wonky on me. Working all next week too which is why I need work shirts washed although could resort to white ones but daughter can't - grrrr One of life's pleasures that I do enjoy - washing - well who doesn't - you stick it in, turn it on and with a bit of luck it comes out all nice and clean - then just needs ironing - now that's a whole different ball game - lol |

Well, it's 10 minutes before they start arriving and I'm ready. Lots of dips, cheeses, nuts, dried fruits, etc., etc., grog, sausages, steakes and rolls. I just seem to keep partying. Nothing wrong with the head at the moment, but I bet there will be tomorrow!, heeeeeee, heeeee. Might have to self-medicate. Jood, of course I keep all of my qualifications, ninny! Just 'cause I'm retired don't mean I lose all of that. I'll catch up later this arvo, it is if I can still type! Lew Lew xxx |

Quick dash in and out. Lew how is the head? Enjoy your lunch today. Mary, now you have to start packing. Just do a bit at a time, then you will find something you need is packed away. LOL Laurie, your dinner sounded lovely if you like seafood. I'm one of the weird people who doesn't. Don't mind the occasional prawn or fish and chips, ( as long as it is good fish ). Yvette like your new name. Is guinea pig food nice Yuck. I definately think they will notice the difference. I have a large packet of almond meal, would like me to send it? Why do people deleted massages? Is it just to get a special number? I think all the numbers are special because special people have created them. Now that sounds a bit too soppy, but I will not delete. Sorry but I couldn't make the frogs move. I don't think I have the right program. I am a bit sore today, i pulled my back out again yesterday, so I am taking it easy today. It's not too bad but I don't want it to get worse. Good excuse to sit here doing nothing.LOL But, I must go for now, lunch to get ready, I am hungry. Luv SuzyQ |

Hi all, Know why I don't like sleeping in - half the day is gone and what have I achieved - burnt porridge is about all, and cold water for my shower - so I haven't had a good start to the day. Forgot to put the booster on last night after using dishwasher and trying to do a load of washing - that's another story too. B****y washing machine decided to turn laundry into swimming pool so after much blue language and mopping OH has called repairman and won't have it working until Tuesday - trip to laundromat coming up later as all my work shirts were the next load to be done - towels are still in machine - front loader - opened door yesterday and another flood - not happy jan. Then got marriage cert so I can organise passport and had ordered maiden aunt's birth and death cert - can't have death as she hasn't been dead 25 years - only 23 - so have to send another form back to get that - for goodness sake's - don't these peeps have eyes - why didn't they check out my marriage cert to see if my maiden name and hers were the same - another not happy jan. Sure blood pressure must be up - should check out Laurie's recent email with all the patterns - bet they are turning so b****y fast today - pmsl Mary & Rebs - thanks for the pickles - getting quite a collection aren't we I'm not the phantom deleter either - except for the bling that wasn't bling yesterday - pppp Vonny - have a great trip - you'll be okay - just out of your comfort zone - anyway Wattle bear is there to keep you company. Lew - have a great lunch and a few more drinkypoos and you'll be fine - anyway you've got the rest of your life to recover - lol Jude2 - if the Crows don't win that will just top off a c**p few days - pppp Hi Jood - don't work too hard To everyone else not mentioned have a great day, hope the weather is nice where you are - we have sunshine and a few clouds but no rain so far Gwenda |

i think theres definitely a call for those lemon polenta cakes again today. problem is for every 12 you make it requires stacks of almond meal. i was wondering if the kids would notice if i substituted ground up guinea pig food 9 or even ground up guinea pig) . We dare not mention the plastic word around here, eldest's ex gf knocked off the plastic and hes stuck with a substantial debt that went way over the limit. oh reckons its a lesson in life yvette |

I bent the plastic yesterday - not for me, for the house, like I really need stuff. .. hmmmm. .. I will never learn. Wonder wot Lew is having for lunch - but then she doesnt do the cooking anyway. .. Maybe its a barbie. .. Terry will be busy. Now I'm getting hungry. .. Another hour to go - no morning tea, straight on to lunch. .. What to have??? Let's change the subject, I have work to do!! Back later Jood |

Morning all..Beautiful day here today and going up to 19 today.. Well its our first day without peeps comming to inspect the house...OH THE PEACE...all we have to do now is wait for the sale to be finalised in 5 or 6 weeks time..and sort and chuck in the meantime.. My advice is to ignore the person who wants to delete their post, only the person who wrote it can delete it so if that is what they want they can go right ahead as far as I am concerned.. Lew Hows the head today.. Did you have a nice party to finish off the day...Its a lovely feeling to now feel FREE...enjoy your day and do exactly what you want to do... Laurie Are you home again for long...what a wonderful life you lead..LOL gosh I am having trouble with my spelling today.. not that its any good most days but today the fingers have a life of their own..I havent had the time to read all the posts so am probably about 6 weeks behind everyones adventures... Must go and start working but back later.. Love Maryxxx |

That's naughty and the one responsible will be sent to the Corner for a very long time. Can't stay for long. Get to ensure place, and food, is ready for the onslaught. Love to you all and thanks for the wonderful party. You're all terrific friends! Lew Lew, the unfunded retiree xxx |
