Good Afternoon Wattlers, It's a beautiful sunny winters day here. Couldn't ask for better, unless it was rain. It is very sad about June. I didn't know her, but have seen her birthdays etc. She must have been a wonderful woman. Anna, how will you be voting on your water recycling? I am surprised that Toowoomba is short of water, another case of not enough dams. How are you feeling today Lew, free as a bird. Have you got any thing exciting planned? I have been very busy cleaning out my inbox and I am about to start cleaning out my messages on GR Yesterday I ticked the box to stop living relatives from showing on my tree, that should cut down on the hot matches. I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Welcome Susan I am SuzyQ from Qld, as I tell all the newbies, I am the quiet, innocent refined member of the wattlers. Not much to tell you another quiet day, except for the big show jumping event that it taking place at Elyesian Fields, the Polo property round the corner. It has been going on for 2 weeks now, but today is the grand final. Jill, you would have enjoyed it i am sure. Well, off to do some puta cleaning. Luv SuzyQ |

Yes, Laurie, you're right! Our Devily is one special gal. Not doing much today. Have been lying on the lounge, reading the paper and am now sipping the chardy. Terry's about to start cooking the Sunday roast. Ain't retirement Baby Ruby's mother, Rebecca, gave us to packets of bulbs as a farewell yesterday. 3 Gladioli and 2 Lilium, both Ruby red, as she reckons Ruby is just as much our as she is theirs. How special is that! We going to plant them under the maple at the front door. Nice. Lew Lew xxx |

Not a bad joke Fanny, Gee it is a big area you have to do with the junk mail compared to here. I used to do 2 areas, one was 450 houses and the other was only 270, but that one was on a very hilly area. When are you going to get stuck into the loaf OH cooked? Off to have Turkey sandwich for lunch. Cheers Sue |

still drinking coffee and looking at oh's loaf. seeing we've had the quote of the day, i'm adding blonde joke of the day which i've just received from my buddy richard There are two sisters, one is blonde and other is brunette and they inherit the family farm . Unfortunately, after just a few years, they are in financial trouble. In order to keep the bank from repossessing the farm, they need to purchase a bull from the stockyard in a far town so that they can breed their own stock. They only have $600 left. Upon leaving, the brunette tells her sister, 'When I get there, if I decide to buy the bull, I'll contact you to drive out after me and home.' The brunette arrives at the stockyard, inspects the bull, and decides she wants to buy it. The man tells her that he will sell it for $599, no less. After paying him, she drives to the nearest town to send her sister a telegram to tell her the news. She walks into the telegraph office, and says, 'I want to send a telegram to my Sister telling her that I've bought a bull for our farm . I need her to hitch the trailer to our ute and drive out here so we can haul it home.' The telegraph operator explains that he'll be glad to help her, then adds, 'It's just 99 cents a word.' Well, after paying for the bull, the brunette only has $1 left. She realizes that she'll only be able to send her sister one word. After a few minutes of thinking, she nods and says, 'I want you to send her the word 'comfortable.' The operator shakes his head. 'How is she ever going to know that you want her to hitch the trailer to your ute and drive out here to haul that bull back to your farm if you send her just the word comfortable?' The brunette explains, 'My sister's blonde. It's a big word. She'll read it very slowly ... com-for-da-bul' |
