Great to have you home Tony . . . Ah sorry you didn't get the nice ones in Paris - we did - and loved it, but then we spent most of our time after we had seen the touristy things out in the subs - and up river. I have been exchangeing emails with a couple we met on a bus since we got home. I thoroughly enjoyed my day in town - once I got on the train I got to thinking how silly I was doing it in holiday time - but it was great, there were a few families about - but they didn't hinder me at all. I didn't get to everything on my list, decided to come back out before the workers started to leave . . . and I'm going back tomorrow to finish what I started! I dont normally cut up Rays fruit for him Shaz, lol, just that he is on the fruit salad thing at the moment for lunch, as in winter we tend to have heavier hot evening meals. Which reminds me - best go get dinner started. Cheers luv Laurie |

Afternoon Wattlers. Welcome home Tony and Barb. Did you like Scotland then, one of my very favourite places. Had another virgin on msn today ( mentioning no names ) we were very gentle with her. I have broadband but only got 500MB, so large attachments only if absolutely essential please. I think Telstra count everything twice. I use in 2 weeks more than I did in a month on dial up. May have to look at another plan. Unfortunately I am tied into them for 24 months. Pam your next on msn, did you get the email? It has been a lovely day today, must have got to over 25 at noon. Even warmed up a bit in the house. Is everyone ready for the 13th. How many will be there. I had something to say but now it has gone. I am just sitting here trying to think, but all I get is a blank. Think I need a holiday. I am sure it was something important. Oh well, anyone sick, please get well soon, anyone on holiday have a lovely time, Just remembered, we don't get any rabbits ( not even blue ones ) in Qld because there is a fence and a sign telling them to keep out. There is also a gate to keep out the ticks. Not sure if that one works. See it was very important, now you will all be able to sleep tonight, knowing that. To continue, anyone having a ME day, hope it was great, and last but most important, anyone with sick pets look after them well, they only have us. And Anna and Katherine remember, You walked together for awhile. Love SuzyQ |

Hello Wattlers, I've just snuck by to see you all waving at me, I'll have to read up on all your antics later in the week, but wanted to let you know DD14 had fantastic trip to Auckland and Rotorua, not thrilled by the sulphur smell lol, didn't sing a note owing to leaving here with heavy head-cold and coming back almost dead from bronchitis, now on antibiotics, sleeping 18 hrs a day. Teachers said she joined in everything nontheless, still a kid ! We were so worried in Melb Sunday night lying awake listening to her gasping for breath, I almost called an ambulance, but it was so wintry cold I really didn't want to move her, and I figured if we took her to a hospital outpatients we'd be sitting waiting 6 hours to be seen, all she needed was a script so we brought her home to our GP. She's coming right, terrible cough, but starting to eat something. So after all that, I'm at sixes and sevens trying to get back to where I left off last Sat afternoon. Melb was pretty awful weather last Sunday, we went to Vic Market (fun) and then to Ikea at ?Gardenvale it is - omg I've never seen so many cars in the carpark, it was packed. Someone said when it's wet in Melb everyone goes shopping!! How true. We brought home a cattledog to do our 'shopping' away from the crowds!! Saw someone asking what to have for lunch - it's 3pm and I'm finishing the Mediterranean Scroll I got from Bakers Delight with my coffee, then I'll find some paperwork to take home and call it a day. Lamb chops tonight, DD's fave. Welcome home Tony and Barb !!! Nothing like your own bed I reckon! Also ((hugs)) to Anna and Katherine, and I'm too late for Vonny, she's flown away..... OOOh I wish I was little Wattie tagging along seeing the sights, I havn't been to Chang Mai. Have to go now, back later in the week, `````````````````` Hz in Albury````````````````` |

Arvo Wattlers, finally read last 20 pages and have caught up-or just confused lol Welcome back Tony and Barb its a b****r haven't to go from the airport straight to work - done it many a time, and each time say never again. Hope you both had a wonderful time, which we will hopefully hear about. Got an awful fright this morning - Ken hadn't turned computer off before going home last night - big no no - and I came into frozen computer who wouldn't do anything. Then AVG virus thingy came up said virus vault was full - 3 files with Trojan horses (?) (didn't say anything about Helen - lol.) anyway what does one do - PANIC!!! Rang y.son - who of course wasn't available so spent a couple of hours totally peeved off as couldn't get on to GR or wattle thread.(wasn't near as worried about the work files). Then ddrrr realised computer had reset itself and the AVG thingy had done its job ( whatever that is) and now I'm virus free ( until the next time) y.son said what was the panic? (when he finally rang back! b*****y kid - I was panicking as he leaves for Sydney in the morning and I will have no tech support for 4 days. Ken and I are going to be totally kid free for the first time in 33 yrs.- Yeah. Well be back later have to deliver the new sink to kitchen mob who are doing the kitchen for the cottage. ~~~~~~~~~ to everyone, jude 3 |

Its been a long day, putas and printers etc are great when they work but B*****ds when they dont. GRRRRRR Taken a deep breath, called the local genius in and all fixed now, as usual I have been told to stay away from all office machinery, not going to do as I'm told tho....pmsl Off to the bank now ,see you all later Jude2 |

Arvo Wattlers..:>))) Ahhhh..back in the land of the Kangaroo & Koala....just sitting here sucking on a V.B tablet ( Gee i missed it )....lol Well, no rest for us young whipper snappers........:>))) We wuz home at 6:30 am and by 9:30 Barb was out in the salon working away and yacking her head orf to waiting clients, and i wuz answering customers and booking up jobs for to-morrow. No rest for the wicked. We seem to get more tired waiting around at damn Airports,( Check in, Customs, Checkout, Customs, Delayed flights, ect, ect,.... but both sleep very comfortable on planes. We flew 7 times in 16 days, from Melbourne to Singapore ( 8hrs ).........Singapore to London ( 12 hrs )........London to Edinburgh ( 1hr )..................Edinburgh to Paris ( 1hr 20 min )................Paris to London ( 1hr ) ........London to Singapore ( 11 hrs with a tail wind ) )......Singapore to Melbourne( 7hrs), so planes are like a second home to us...lol. Paris is 1hr in front of London ( time wise) left at 3:15 pm De Gaulle airport.....arrived Heathrow at 3:20 pm....LOL......but it takes an hr for the plane to reach height and flight plan.........This would be my 16th trip O'seas and Barb's 28th, so we a-tune quite well, and dont suffer from jet lag thank god. Apart from the Airlines losing our luggage at Heathrowe, we were trouble free. My fault for leaving our Intinery in the suitcases, and dont know why i did it, as normally carry our B&B's and maps, & plans in carry on luggage...( musta been a senior moment ) Will put some piccies on GR Photo board, when i finish reading the 156 Emails that were downloaded for me by Nephew who was house sitting for us. Kids and grankids will be over to-night for pressies. We had a great time ( as ya do ) but France...Mmmmmm........leaves a bit to be desired, and good manners wouldnt go astray with the frenchy's, but a bloke could make a fortune selling doggie pooper scoopers up and down the footpaths leading up to the Eifel Tower..( another story )..:>))) Better go make me better Alf a cuppa tea, coz she's been bustin for a real cuppa ( in a Tea pot ) since she hit terra firma in Oz.....LOL Catcha ron, with some stories aboot me Scotish walkaboot...Och aye......the Scot Highlands are a sight to behold. Tony Oz....:>))) 6 weeks to go.....till Hayman Island......:>))))))...Well someone has ta do it, so might as well be me...lol |

hi , (jumping about -briefly) i've got broad band, 2 GB peak time download, + 6 GB off peak. I download a pile of stuff for work and when i'm at uni, theres also others competing for use. OH has his own super duper deal but he's a musician as well so always exceeding his limit. I love photos - thanks to lew for photos. its great to see who you actually speaking to. when my cousin i had never met sent me photos i cried 'cause her daughter, her and me have the same look. it was uncanny. Had to get out for a walk today, i'm going nuts. Youngest male child just asked if i would like to watch a movie! ha, he's gotta be joking. I took him for the walk and he wanted to come home. was hungry and thirsty, poor kitten. He wouldn't want to think he's off the hook either. oooh - back to the yak. love yvette |

Jude & Jill - I wasnt sending anything specific, but sometimes I get nice pps pics sent to me and they are usually at least 1mb. .. I dont want to tie anyones pc up unnecessarily, so I was going to divide you all up into two parts - either you've got it or you haven't - oooh that sounds suggestive! One day I might send some of my outback pics from long ago, and of my little townhouse - they are not new, but pretty. Well I reckon young Tony should be awake by now, don't you peeps??????????? Let's give him a hoy - or perhaps a vitamin tablet? .. That should get him going. Jood |
