Morning all :) from cloudy Chiang mai :) You will be proud of me - I went shopping twice yesterday! (and didn't buy a thing!!!!! Hee hee But i know what i want now - that was just a reccy. Watty is getting out and about but I don't have much free time. Went to the Night Bazaar last night and will go again tonight. Saw some adorable clothes for the grand - daughter :) Not much else to report - I've seen the indide of the conference room more than anything else - AND the dining room of course. Funny thing about the French - my OH found them to be rude and arrogant when he was there years ago. They were OK when we went through on the tour in 2000 but we were with a tour group so maybe they are nice to large groups as they represent lots of tourist francs! Morning Everyone, Sorry, I have been reading now and then, but not adding. I am due to start my long service tomorrow. I have had such a busy time lately. Work has been hell, i am sure most of you would have heard of the gastro outbreak in Victoria, well i can tell you that that has made my job soooo pleasant lol. So many staff off sick that it has been all available hands on deck. And having my youngest daughter home quite unwell with glandular fever, i feel like i haven't had a spare minute to myself. Then my MIL had to have a procedure, so needed to stay with us for a couple of days as well, (just call me Florence Nightingale). I should be at work today, but have come down with a nasty cold, OH and i were just saying the other day how we had avoided all the rotten bugs going around, think we mozzed ourselves lol. Thats enough moaning. Welcome home Tony and Barb, I think it is my turn for wattlelotto, so will buy the winning ticket later. I hear on the news this morning that someone in Kalgoolie had a good win. OH and I are off to Perth on the 26th and heading to QLD some time after that. Now that we have had a a bit of rain, farming is in full swing again, yeah yippee!!!! At Last. OH was starting to get a bit antsy, now he can chill out a bit. Ok will check in later Take Care Wilson

Nice bling, Jood and, Laurie, if we keep up with all these countdowns, surely at some point of time one of us is going to blast off, lol. btw, can you think of anything in particular I should for Colleen's baby shower, or should I just spoil her! Trifley, I'm positive you're going to be okay. That's because you're such a positive person (((((hugs))))) Pleased to hear you're going to make it to the Mudgee Meet, Lyn. I think the group booking is probably the way to go, although there are several wonderful b & b's for those who prefer that kind of accommodation. Joodles will be staying with me and I have promised a bed to SuzyQ and Neville if they can make it. If not, I'll let you all know and you can decide who stays with me. Ooo Mary, settlement and the Casino Meet all at once. What a way to celebrate, lol. I know, invite all to your new place to help you unpack! Could you imagine the chaos??????? Morning Joodlebling, Beautiful here by the Bay at 745am, sun doing its best, Rakeman is out there clearing the footprints out of the sand and 8 giraffes are standing tall. We are off to Jakarta for a week and Thailand for 2 days to recover . . . heehee. Got to use up the Singapore Air points before they expire end of August! Of course Ray will be working in Jakarta, while I contribute to the 3rd world economy. Will be so nice to thaw out, and see my friends - seems ages since I was there last. Yes the silly girls have gone off to join Lems they took the bait dished out by AB, but he has gone also - lets hope he doesnt renew his subs and thats the last we see of the infamous AB, or Mike ar whoever he is. So you are off to Brissie again Laurie? - in 12 days, or to some exotic place like Thailand?? .. Some people! I wont bombard you with pics of Lucas, but I received this one (among some others) the other day, and just had to send it. .. The little marks he has on his eyes, Jann calls 'Stork marks' where the stork carried him!, but in actual fact, these have faded dramatically, the camera seems to pick the colours out more. I'm a lucky girl coz I have a pic of our Yvette - and she looks very nice (like all us Wattlers) Pitch dark outside at 6:18am (remember I went to bed early last night) - so no idea what the weather is going to be like. Joodles, no one mentioned your new bling - and no one noticed my change on my name today . . . Thought someone would have noticed I am going to be using the Qantas Club soon !!! Talking to Lara earlier and the poor love is not haveing much luck with her connection - it keeps cutting out on her, I told her as long as she can keep in touch to let us know she is Ok. No Lyn it was today I was in the city - and will be again tomorrow to finish the job! Hi there girls (and any guys) Shazz - no of course you haven't frightened me away. I have just been busy with work ( yes some of us have to work!! lol) and then have actually been making a bit of an effort with the old family history and tidying up and filing the certs, updating the tree etc. I dash in and out and check the goss on the Wattle thread. I tend to get into the threads at way past midnight and then you girls have already trotted off to bed with your hot water bottles and horlicks!! But take note girls I am watching you all!! Popped in Sydney yesterday for a course for work, then met OH and we went ot the movies to see Wah Wah - loved it. Mary - in regards to packing up all your dinner sets etc, I still have boxes and boxes in the garage of items I packed up and quite obviously don't need them as I haven't even looked inside them in the 2 yrs since we moved here. I got OH to take one huge box of glasses down to St Vinnies without even bothering to check what was actually in the box - well it did say 'Fragile - Glass'. Lew Lew - Yes Mick and I will definitely be coming to Mudgee in Feb and we were going to arrange accommodation at a motel, but I guess what you said about contacting her ladyship - Trifley and then seeing if we can get a discount for bulk bookings is a good idea. Gosh the way the Wattlers are going at the moment we will be taking over Mudgee. Fanny - made the Lemon cakes, but think next time I should put more almond meal. Made maple snags with mustard mash tonight (from the June Delicious) - and enough left over to take to work for lunch! Laurie - it's a wonder I didn't bump into you yesterday in the big smoke! We went to the MCA at the Quay then up to MOS, but didn't have time to see the exhibition we really wanted to see (the photos of 1920's and 1930's inSydney). Will have to go again another day as I hate rushing around museums. Looked around a few shops but only ended up buying some socks (from a spruiker style store that was allegedly closing down!) - so we are now 10 pairs of socks richer! OK that's it for me, back to FH. Anna - the cyst could just be fatty tissue - it happens often. They show up every time when I have a mammogram. I think Shazz's headaches were coz she ran out of bp tablets a while ago and hadn't got around to getting a new lot. She got a lecture from me! Yes, I guess Lucas has grown quick - I told you he rolled over the other day, and gave my daughter a fright - only 11-12 weeks old - plus the tooth that appeared (probably gone again now) .. I assure you he doesnt take after me, and I'm glad to say he has a lovely nose, not like mine. .. Even his mum was worried he might get my nose .. pmsl I don't know if it would work Lew, but it would be interesting to take pictures from outside your house looking in, at night with all the dimmers on. I can't get into the footie tonight either - Im off to bed also. Nite all Jood

Ooo, sorry to hear about the cyst thing, Trifley, still it could be nothing. This house has heaps of lighting and it's all on dimmers! It's in every room and the bedrooms also have bedside lamps. After exploring the cost of a cellar, we didn't put one in. We would have had to pay heaps for special re-enforcement, drainage, etc., so just ended up buying a wine cellar that holds about 120 bottles. Trying to watch State of Origin, but can't get into it! Hello to my favourite cyber-friends I've had a busy day today. It was time for my check up mammogram and ultra-sound so I had them today. The ultra-sound picked up a ???cyst in the left side. I pick up the results tomorrow......so I'm on tenter hooks until then. Hi Shaz...do you suffer with migraines? Horrible things. I hope you feel better. Laurie...I know what you mean about museums and galleries. I love spending time soaking up culcha in these places. Anna & I spent a few relaxing hours when we went to Brisvegas. Joodles....it is amazing how much Lucas has grown. He is so cute....obviously takes after nanna...lol I have broadband with unlimited download. We need it with the amount of time Mark spends on the puta. Believe it...he spends more time on his than I do on mine....lol. Hi Jill....aahhh, yes...that wonderful life line...the puta.
