Afternoon from Sunny but Cold Mudgee. SuzyQ, I just bought one of those cheap little Kambrook citrus juicers and lots of oranges. I'll try it out in the morning. Ooo, Laurie, not long now and you'll be winging your way to Jakarta. Don't forget to wave when you fly over. You should be able to recognise our place by the lap pool. Boy, you lot are going to have fun at the GC Meet. Who's going? No, Trifley, don't take Nefer. All those girls could damage him! Well, I'm off to read for a while. Lew Lew xxx |

Good Afternoon, Everyone sound to be cold and busy. Lara I hope that you get fixed up soon, we don't want the men in white coats to come hauling you away with withdrawal syptoms now do we. Are you back down to earth now Tony. Planing your holiday in Hamilton Island now. Lew did you get your new juicer and a big bag of oranges. Just what Terry needs for his cold. Vonny I hope you got home without too much fuss. We will expect a full travelogue, Tony style, after a good nights sleep. Mary, can you bear to part with even justone book. I love books even the one I didn't enjoy. There is something about the feel of them even the smell when they get old.. At the moment I am reading Lauren Bacal's biography. It is very interesting. Another book you all might like is called Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. Its a novel all about the building of churches in the 12th century. A thick book but I couldn't put it down. Now what I want to know, do I need a tarara on Thursday. Will the boys be in attendence, just Nefer will do, to carry the drinks etc. Rebs are you coming. Well i think it is time to go. Sorry if I have forgotten anyone, back tomorrow Luv SuzyQ |

Just had to share this one . . . An old lady was standing at the rail of the cruise ship holding her hat so that it wouldn't blow away in the wind. A gentleman approached her and said, 'Pardon me, madam. I do not intend to be forward but did you know that your dress is blowing up in this wind?' 'Yes, I know,' said the lady. 'But I need my hands to hold onto my hat.' 'But madam, he said, 'you must know that you're derriere is exposed!' The woman looked down, then back up at the man and said, 'Sir, anything you see down there is 85 years old, but I just bought this hat yesterday!' pmsl luv Laurie |

Good arvo Wattlers, Tassie - sorry dentist couldn't help you today but at least he's not one to want you to throw good money after bad teeth. I asked a dentist once when I'd get false teeth and he said no way - well I now have 15 of my own teeth and top and bottom plates - coudn't be happier - go to 6 monthly check-ups that don't cost cos my health benefits cover that. Must admit tho it took 12 months for me to wear top plate - wanted to gag all the time until it was modified. Bottom plate was no probs - dentist said most people find it difficult to wear bottom plate - I've just got to be the contrary one - ppppp btw I don't mind the dentist but then I had a lovely one from the age of 9 - at a check up I'd get a lolly - knew how to get me coming back didn't he - lol Mary - thanks for the info - sounds good and we gotta eat. Still cold here - got the heater fired up - I'm no warmer tho - maybe I should do some ironing - nah then I'd have to stand up!!!! although son has just called me in to rumpus room as baseball is on so maybe ironing is the go catch up later Gwenda |

Hope your having a nice holiday Lara, and throw that lap top in the bin mate, and bend Mikes plastic card a little...hee hee Well....if Barb does it to me, might as well make others suffer. Sue ( Tassie ) I hate dentist mate, and have nightmares just at the mention of their name. But if you got an absus, the dentist wont touch ya teeth until you get antibiotics from the doc, i think. Hiya Janet. I live not to far from Greensborough and on the odd occasaion pass through there every now and then, so if you have a query, just GR email me, and i will help if i can. Joodle. Afternoon Wattlers Im back, not any better but will be down the track. Went to the dentist, he had a look at my teeth said yes there was a few that needed to come out, but due to my heart probs, and the fact that I am not on anitbiotics at the moment, he couldnt do anything today. I replied and said it is a pity you couldnt take all of them as they all are not in the best condition. He agreed and said if I would prefer he could put me on the list to go to day surgery and given a general anaesetic (spelling) and have them all taken out at same time. My reply was yes please, anything to get out of sitting in the chair and have them pulled, as I stress out too much, heart rate goes up and bang I'll get a shock from unit, he definately said he would also prefer for me to go to the hospital after that. So I had to go get xrays taken and return them to him, he had a look and said yes they all needed to go and I am on urgent list. I asked for a rough time frame as in 2 months?? more or less and although he couldnt say, he did say it might not take that long ...... Now when it the Sydney meet? just under 5 weeks :-( might be ol' gummy shark at the meet, oh well I already have a top plate so at least I will have some teeth. Well going to do some chicken soup for tea, as it is cold and rainy here, will check in after if I feel ok. 33 sleeps, Cheers Sue |

Morning All, I have just been having a read back a couple of pages and now i think i may have mucked up with the Lotto, was it my turn? or jood's, I couldn't find my list of whose when, and thought it was me. Oops, can someone put the list up again please. I have only had quick looks at the thread over the weekend, spent all weekend playing farmers. We didn't win on my ticket by the way. I will look back in later, first day of long service and have to start by doing some h*******k yuk, when we are in serious farmer mode we just come home to sleep and repack the esky and leave again, and my house can attest to that lol. If i don't get to it i will be bound to have visitors he he. Hope all the sickies are feeling better. Take Care Wilson |

Hi everyone Lovely day in old Sydney town today.. Jood Glad you had a nice weekend, and did you try the chillie burgers at the Wollumbi Pub.. they are the best..Coulnt take the DJJJ either,, rotten stuff. Gwenda Have a lovely time in the big smoke if you are looking for a nice place for lunch or dinner and not to expensive try ROCINNIS at circular Quay opposite no 2 ferry wharf I think. You pick what dish you want to have then pay at the cashier for it and hand the docket to the man behind the counter and tell him what you want and he serves it to you..with a lovely big bread roll.. Every dish I have had there is very tasty and meals are around 11 to 15 dollars.each dish is marked with the price and you can see axactly what you are getting.. We love it and when we go to town we always go there for lunch. Today we start on all the books we have and that is a lot.. will take us all day to sort out what we want to take and what we want to not take. Vonny You poor girl.. But I could think of worse airports to get stranded in.. but not when you are on the way home..have a good sleep when you arrive back and you will be right by tomorrow.. Hi Babs Was Cat doing a strip at the meet..LOL glad you had a great time.. Laurie, I am so glad you had such a nice day yesterday.. What a find ,reuniting with a cousin with so much in common..what a wonderful time you will have sorting through all that memorabiliar..lucky girl... Well its time to get to work. Tassie.. Hope the dentist is gentle with you,, I also hate them and stay away as much as I can. I know that is not the way to be but youth experiences make you that way in later years..good luck... Lew You thawed out yet...?? See ya all later Love Maryxxx |

Good Morning Wafflers. Week 2 of the retirement and it's the worst frost we've had yet. Lucky I didn't have to get out of bed, lol. Got down to -6.6, brrrrr. Wish I was going to the GC Meet, just to escape the weather mind, not to catch up with you mad lot. Yes, Jood, Dr Jurd's Jungle Juice is like a dry sherry. Perhaps we should get some for our Wine Trifle. lol Honey Rum, it sounds like the Chester Meet went well. I'll have to check out the photo pages to see the incriminating evidence. Laurie, do you need a porter for Jakarta? My passport is valid and ready to go. Have fun. I think we should re-christen Tony, Fodor! It's like reading a travel book. Sounds wonderful, Fodor, keep the stories coming. Hiya, Babs, somehow I just knew Cat would have a tattoo! Sorry about the toothache, Tassie, that'll teach you to pinch the big numbers, lol. Well I'm off to have some breakfast. Today I think I'll do *uuuuummmmm* oh that's right, nothing, pmsl Waves to all Lew Lew xxx |
