Hi Peeps,. Just been on the phone to Lara. First we texted, and then I thought b*********r this, so rang her. .. She is doing well, Billie the dog has improved so much he is hungry all the time, and looking at her with his big eyes! She sends her love to you all, and says she will be on line very soon. The pc is ok - its just the voda-card wouldnt work. They moved their van to another site today, and she hopes to get the phone on So there you have it. Jood

So glad Watty arrived safely. Obviously now has ideas above his station if the pickles are anything to go by :) I did take pickles of him in Thailand but they are still in the -oldfashioned-camera and need to be developed. Then I need to get my scanner back from the kids - or get them to scan for me - which is probably a better idea :) John says we will get a new wizz-bang camera for Christmas. Start teaching again tomorrow. Should have started on Friday but I wasn't feeling well enough. ~~~~~~~Vonny

Well Aunty Lollie is pooped . . . I managed to get some red cordial into JoJo before I dropped him home, so that should do the job for Janto & Silvi (tonight teeeheee). We went to Pondok Indrah Shopping Plaza, had a bite to eat, met up with a whole group of people I knew, so Aunty Lollie took 6 little ones (had 2 nannies to help) to Timezone. Gave them all a swipe card with heaps of credit and sent them on their way. All the mummies now have bags of rubbish toys and junk to take home! No rest for the wicked, Ray rang to say we are going out with friends (good ones to stay in with - they run the furniture factory and Glen wants a new outdoor setting) to try a new restraunt - not sure what sort! So just a quick wave as I run into the shower and wash of some of the hot sticky day we have had. Going to have to allow myself a few extra mins to clean the food out of the car before Ray sees it - he will have a fit! Catch you all later ~~~~~ glad to wee Watty has settled in cheers luv Laurie

Thats ok Jude2 - I was about to go for dinner and thought I'd have a peek in MSN. I'm quite warm here with aircon on - its not tooo bad, but my eyes are sore from too much strain - no not family history - but playing b*******y Mahjongg!! .. Talk about addictive !

Dont be tooo hasty Jude2 - let's enjoy spring first - we would be complaining about the hot weather otherwise! .. My daughter reminded me it was only 6 weeks till spring. I guess you will all be watching Kylie Minogue on Channel 9 (I think it is) - at 8.30pm? I was earnest working away on my family history updating stuff I had found a long time ago - it sure wears your eyes out, and its nice to have a break - playing a game, or chat, for a while. Jood

Well, afternoon tea was just great! Rebecca & Baby Ruby brought me out a very small chocolate cake, just big enough for Terry and me. Pam & daughter Ellie (13) brought flower and a toy siamese cat that Mui took great interest in and just stared and patted. Even the florist delivered flowers to me from friends in Sweden! Pam, when you were christened Little Duck, I always said in my mind - Little Black Duck!!. So it must be from a story in our childhood perhaps???? Gwenda, I didn't realise it would take quinces that long to turn red, but I'm sure I boiled mine at least that long! Managed to grab the washing in just as it started sprinkling.
