Evening Wafflers.....:>))) Hi. Virgin Merryx Tassie. Camberwell is part of Greater London ( about 4km's ) away from the City Centre. Kent is a County with at least ( as a guess ) over 500 Villages and Parish's. Here's a handy link that i use constanty to what Villages and Parish's you may find in different Counties, and where they are located.Its been around since the Internet begun and is a good source of info on finding places....so a goody to save in your favourites. http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/ Eg: Click on England. It will list the Counties. Click on a county ( Essex )..then up at the top of the screen it says' Essex town and Parishes' click on that, and it will list all Villages and Parish's in Essex.You can do the same for all the Counties.Also, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, ect,ect Hope everyone had a great day. Tony Oz.....:>))..... who's knackered. |

Evening Jood Thanks for the offer of typing up the counties, but then I'd need to know what cities were in what counties etc etc etc, so I wouldnt worry about it, as you said there is always google, but I never think about it at the time. I gather Camberwell is what we call a suburb of London. I saw a couple of threads on the general board bragging about it being soo hot, not fair when it is only about 5 degrees here at the moment :-( Cheers Sue |

Now Jood, what's wrong with Joodles? You had it when I first came onto this thread and I like it! It's happy and fun, just like you, lol Jilly, I like that, although Silly Jilly is more your speed, lol. Well, I'm off for an early night to continue on the new book. Perhaps we need a Wattler's Library and just keep shipping books around the country instead of buying new ones. Trifley, how's our Watty tonight? Boy, I hope he sobers up - NOT! Me thinks he is immune to alcohol, I mean, he is a tried and true Wattler, isn't he? Have a great night one and all. Lew Lew xxx |

May I put my 6 penneth in? .. I like Jilly - just plain jilly - and I prefer Princes DI(y) to Jarra - honest!!!!! .. Also prefer Jood to Joodles .. lol .. but I'm afraid I'm stuck with it as far as the Wafflers are concerned! .. Mark my words tho, this xmas I'm still going to be the Virgin Merry. Tassie - I never use maps or books - I google everything on the computer. .. I could type out a list of all the counties in England if you wanted. .. I typed in Camberwell, and it said Camberwell, London. .. Its a great source of information. Jood |

Hi Wattlers Sandra, I was mentioning about not knowing England well as I have Arnolds in Camberwell and Pam mentioned she had some in Kent. Now because I get mixed up with what is a town and what is a county and I wasnt sure if they was close together or what. I know I should get a map and just look it up when a place is mentioned, but Im too lazy. Mmmm so you like a bit of mystery, have to wait till late next week, it may be interesting it may not, but Im getting excited about it :-)))) Yes we are so looking forward to Nans surprise party, all her children and most of her Grand children, and also some Great Grandchildren will be there. she doesnt like to be refered to as Gran Nan or anything like that, it is just Nan to her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren alike. She didnt want a fuss or any party for her 90th birthday she was wanting to wait till she turned 100, but we couldnt wait. Cheers Sue |

~~~~~~~~~~~~to Vonny~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi Jill Not much planned today. I do have to go into town and pay a bill that I would've paid yesterday had the bank not been shut due to technical difficulties. They said 20 mins but I had that Tesco thing to go to and by the time that had ended I just went shopping and then got home asap as my daughter phoned me in the supermarket to ask where I was and to inform me she was starving lol. |
Hello Wattlers I tried to post a couple of hours ago but the GR site threw a hissy fit and closed down so I went and did the ironing :-( Hi Jarra....if you find the martoonie a little dry you can use Bianco (medium) instead of dry vermouth. If you don't have that then just use 2 lots of the sweet.......it really is a 'try 'til you like it' type of drink. Crew...good to see that you are feeling fit today.....obviously can't keep a good girl down...lol Big waves to everyone~~~~~~ I'm going to pack my bag for tomorrow. I'll check in later. love Trifley X |
