NEWS BREAK ...ATTENTION ALL WATTLERS! Have just spoken to Trifley on the phone - she is safely tucked up in a private room at Pindara Hopsital at the Gold Coast and Watty is keeping her company. She has already snuck out to the Cafeteria for a COFFEE ! She has had radioactive injections which haven't shown up on the Xrays as yet so she is off to Xray again at 8.00am tomorrow and will probably be in theatre about 11.00am. At this stage they can't get her puter to work on the hospital connection which is a pain but her son Mark will be in tomorrow and he may know what the problem is. She sends her love to everyone and her very heartfelt thanks for all the messages and loving thoughts from all lthe Wattlers - she feels so supported. So, she's nervous but fine and she will try to get a message to us all tomorrow evening. So - waves to everyone from Trifley andd Watty Anna

Jude2. Did you get the frost and fog this morning up your way. I put on me dancing shoes at 5:30 am to go for a walk...looked outside and saw the car roof frozen over.....:>((( ...... so made a quick retreat back inside. Barb just smiled at me from under the doona, and said......Onya own mate...she wasn't budging. Tony Oz...:>))

btw weather here today: Northwest that is lol It's rained overnight so everywhere is wet and cooler than previously although still warm. Drying out though and the sun's coming out :-)

Sorry Tony, it just gives us another week to think about what to pack and where to go...lol

I'm afraid here in Britain they are completely unorganised when it comes to weather. We had nothing in place to cope with hot weather and when it snows we grind to a halt. The authorities couldn't even get the CSA right after visiting yours to find out how it worked so they're not going to succeed over something as unpredictable as the weather lol. We don't have air con in cars because we don't usually get this hot, not used to it like you Aussies lol. ~~~~~~~to all Boy that was a long day. Daughter's meeting went for 31/2 hours and then I had to grocery shop. Then I had to catch up on the day's talking on here. Hi Fitz, hope you enjoy your free day. Glad you're back Laurie, but it would kill me to have someone come and stay the evening I arrived home!!! Thanks for email Tony. I could do with a cruise!! That's a lovely idea SuzyQ, and thanks for the Wattle compliment, funny really as this birthday cake I'm doing at the moment because it's for a man I'm decorating it with a wattle spray and maybe some gum nuts, but I think I might be developing an allergy to the bl--dy stuff, just kidding will do anything to help. luv Jillx

Afternoon All, This is just to give you something to think about. Due to recent events some of us would like to do some thing to raise funds for breast cancer. We need ideas so put on your thinking caps, it has to be from the whole Wattle comunity. A couple of ideas already, needs a bit of fine tuning. 1 a recipe book with contributions from all members ( not spag on toast from a tin Tony ) Lew has offered to print it. We then sell it to family and friends. 2. Compile family trees for people, for a fee of course. This needs a lot of fine tuning but it's what we all like to do. Okay ideas please, and I think perhaps we could let our own Queen Trifley make the final decision. Maybe more than one. I suggested that Jill make sugar wattle and sell it, and we could all watch LOL Well, must away, dinner calls Luv SuzyQ

Dear Wattlers, have you had your insanity confirmed? took me ages to read the last lot of pages. i think ive done well to get distracted by all the goings on. i did notice a kowaleski( sorry about the spelling) investigator. oh has some of those, polish too. sending you all my love and thanking you for remembering me with your funnies spent the day in the anatomy lab today, work tomorrow and hopefully wattling on the weekend. my baby is 13 today, so i'm off to spoil him. from Yvette xxxxxxxxxxxxx
