Evening All Jillaroo sounds like my place with OH playing around with a surround sound system, except he sets all the electrical things up like DVD and CD etc and I have to stop and think what channel I need what on. Pam I hope we do better than the Roos did last night, who knows we may surprise some like we did against Geelong back at Easter time, Im not sure if its on Austar here as Sydney and Richmond are on free to air TV, will investigate in a minute as girls are waiting for the puta. Tony I hope I didnt put my foot in it with the footy, I always think we are behind the mainland with the footy, forgetting that with it in Vic it may be delayed. I just looked to see who you are playing next week :-) Fingers crossed for tonight lotto Ooh Hawks are on Austar see you in a couple of hours :-) Have to try and get them over the line :-) Cheers Sue

oh plays electric bass, youngest male child plays any noisy instrument laying around, so i'm always surrounded by sound. i'll be watching dr who folding junk mail for my last ever(remind myself) delivery. they will be practicing at the same time. total zoo in here at times yvette x

The drizzle stopped long enough so that I could get out. Came home via the waterfront so that I could have my 'water' fix. No no, Jillaroo, no telly. You'll miss the Lions and Hawks match. Pam

Afternoon Wattlers Gee whats all that singing I can hear Oh its only Tony and Lara singing at the top of their voices somethhing about Good old collingwood pmsl. Congrats Guys. Mary I have everything crossed so hopefully you can make the meet. Lew what do we have to do to persuade Terry to put the holiday to Bright off just for a little while, or can you go before, like pack up now go to Melb tomorrow and be back in time for Casino meet, after all its not as if you have to go to work lol. DD arrived back home from their birthday outing at the Cataract Gorge to inform me that while they had a ride in the chairlift, her phone fell from her pocket, they retrieved the phone minus the battery. They looked all around and also had help from others that was at the Gorge but no one could find the battery, they think it may have fallen down between the rocks. I suppose the main thing is she still has the sim card, it is only a prepaid but still it has a bit of credit on it. I have no idea who is and who isnt going to the Sydney meet so Im not sure how many new faces I will see, oh well I suppose I will find out soon enough. Trifley, sending hugs your way. Cheers Sue

Good morning everyone!! Still lovely and warm here.. what have we done to deserve such gorgeous weather? I do hope it continues for our trip to Blackpool....packing will have to be done just a couple of days before when we find out just what the weather will be like... only 80 miles away from me, but the weather can be so different... it's interesting reading the 'occupations' of people in the union workhouses etc. theres a few imbeciles and idiots there. have sat on my rear end for the best part of today, with ergonomic breaks being quick trip to the shops - 25% of flash drives in one major dept store K. 2 items bargain priced apparel. discovered 'which bank' is open until 2.30pm Saturdays. medicare open until 12.30 pm so...can now stay in jim jams until 11 at least on Saturdays. Other than that rain has cancelled sheet and blanket washing exercise. made 2 different loaves of bread and date scones. after eating date scones, don't feel like dinner. Have read threads , played word games. thankyou for the ppt Laurie. We need to be constantly reminded how to be positive in our thoughts. After watching the news (I am just totally devasted with what is happening in some parts of the world - but I'm not getting on my soap box) it makes me count my blessings that we live where we do. Tony - my OH is the 2nd attempt. the first 2 kiddies grew up with him as father figure and we had another. After experiencing all ages at close range in a short period of time, he had a nip. he was a brave bloke. day trip to parramatta and had it under a local. Have had a busy day , had the 2 grandsons again last night, they slept till late then I cooked brunch for them, then they were picked up and I had to go shopping for a few things, thats the extent of my day so far.
