Good Morning my fellow Wattlers. Lovely sunny day in Mudgee. We're off to a NAB do today. They're 140 years old. Then to a charity event at Landmark for Sydney Children's Hospital. Tonight the partners are finally taking us out to dinner. Gee, I wonder if they miss us, lol. Laurie, another trying day for Den, family and friends. I just hope the right decisions are made. You keep resting Trifles. It's the best thing you can do. Anna, send Katherine my congratulations. Well done! I'll chat with you all this afternoon, but for now I'd better get going. Morning all, Can't stop for long, tho I will pop back. Just saw this, and felt it appropriate to post 'Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.' I'd been looking back through this past year, on all the mishaps and misfortunes the Wattlers have had, its been quite a year. .. Let's hope 2007 will be a kinder one for us all. Have a great day. Love Jood

Good evening Wafflers . . . Not a lot to report, everything still the same at the hospital. They enjoyed their lunch so much I am going to do the same thing again tomorrow - only with a big feed of prawns tomorrow. I called at the fish markets today, and for dinner tonight Ray and I had bbq baby oci and stuffed calamari - yummy! There is another conference with the doctors at 2pm tomorrow - so anyones guess as to what the next step will be. Thanks for the call Lew, dont want to blow your cover - but your one lovely lady. I know you need to catch up with your family, but it is a pity that your trip to Victoria is same weekend as our meet . . . Ah well next time. The Mudgee meet will be upon us before you know (well upon you . . . teehee) Sounds like your holding court there Trifley, keep up the nanna naps so the bod can repair. Hope the cough hasn't got hold of you - there are times when laughing and coughing are our worst enemies aren't there. Great to have you back on board Lara - missed you girl! Oh Anna, that's great - well done to Catherine and her orchestra friends, they have every reason to be right chuffed with themselves. Tomorrow after the spare furniture has gone you will really start to feel like it is all happening Mary, next move for me will hopefully be back home. But I'm not holding my breathe !!! Blue face and popping eyes does nothing for me . . . Had a bit of a look around Ancestry tonight - they have changed a few things around, looks good . . . having spouse or parents names on the index is a good idea. Will have a bigger play tomorrow if I get the chance (might take puter out with me). well that's it for me for tonight - sleep tight all cheers luv Laurie

Goodnight everyone Sorry Jood - didn't see you before - you must have been hiding! Glad to hear you had a good day Trifley. Good luck at the Doctors tomorrow. Jill - whilst you've got kids you've got worries. Is it you who is the grandmother from hell - or his other grandma? Hope you can sort him out. As you say, if you can't sort him out now, it's harder as they get older. Katherine's orchestra gained second place in the eisteddfod tonight - their tuba player was back on deck! So they are all very pleased with themselves. Sleep tight all :>) Anna Lew - did you see the thread about Essex roots?? I felt sure you'd have something to say about that!!!!!

Hi Wafflers I had a great sleep last night....no squeeky hospital bed. Took it very easy today, a couple of short walks with Graeme down the side lane just to get some fresh air and sunshine. Our little dog, Jessie, thought it was wonderful. I had a good snooze this afternoon and have been fielding phone calls all evening from rels......aww, they love me...lol Lovely yellow songs last night......it is such a happy colour to sing about. Off to see the GP in the morning. He just wants to give me the once over and check the drain. I'm heading off to the land of nod now.....sleep well everyone. I'll catch up with you all tomorrow. love Trifley X

hi Wattle people.i've had a lovely day, got to do the good stuff this arvo. in anatomy you are 'supposed to follow strict ethical guidelines' but its great all the same and soo interesting. Yvonne, a friend of mine ended up as a forensic biologist and loves her job too bits. i popped in at lunch time to have a read (early lunch) and you guys were still contemplating the day. Don't know how you ever deal with neighbours at camp grounds and caravan parks. Its either seek revenge or get over it. Jill, my middle son is a lovely boy, however a real free spirit. has explored nearly every avenue, challenged the most patient teacher's marbles and loves being a cement renderer (left school the day he turned 15) he's 20 in August hopefully will get in the army by then. he can't wait! I never thought I would be overjoyed with an offspring joining the armed forces - but his choice. Suzi - have I been sending mail to the right address, or has somebody else been getting it? Can't remember the funnies off hand but I love getting them. I think I need some chocolate, maybe you need a bit too Trifley. Don't know about you but it always makes me feel better if i've got a cold. ((((hugs))))) Bit more - can't stand watching footy on tele. don't know if its coz i have a short attention span and i potter off or that its actually on tv. Will pop back later. love to everybody from Yvette xx

Have to say Jill, been there, done that - many years ago - dont ever want teenagers any more ( I know your g-s is only 8). Good on you for the right approach - a drink is better than ironing any day. Sandra, I'd be ringing Big Pond up and having a chat to them. ... I've heard similar stories. .. Why don't you do what someone (was it Lew or Tony?) suggested to Lara, open your mail in WebMail on Bigpond, and read them there, that way they don't download onto your computer. .. And when you are ready to change to another server, consider Internode - as they are great. Not long to go now Sydney-ites and Canberra-ites till our meeting. .. Got the hair dyed, the fingernails painted, and the body massages ?? (tee hee) - how many of us can afford that? .. I'll just come as I am. Lew - another Singapore Buzz email has arrived - are you interested? Hi RB - anything you want to know - ask, and if I can, I'll answer, if I can't - I'll find out. Jood

Late Afternoon All Wattlers, Have been out all day watching 10year old Granddaughter in her Zone sports carnival, it's nice to watch but very tiring. Welcome back Lara and loved the new banner it's great. Triffley how are you feeling today after your martoonies nice and relaxed???? Now I am going to be very boring, we had our bill in today for broadband and once again we were way over our limit ( can't really understand it, so what I am going to do is ask everyone to not send me any emails at all for a while( i want to do a sort of survey) we can't get out of it till Jan so have to do something. But of course if there is something really important then please send. Hope you all understand. Cheers Sandra in the gong

Hello everyone, had a bit of a day, youngest gson he's eight, has got himself in big trouble at school, so bad he's been suspended for five days, we have had a meeting with the headmaster and the school's behavioral (sp) councellor. This is the second time this year he's been suspended. Not good, last time he spent the time with his father, big mistake, bad influence, this time he gets to stay with the grannie from hell. no television and you will do school work, work well and you'll be rewarded. He thought he was going to get another holiday like last time, mistake, big mistake. We have got to get this child sorted out before he gets much older. Thanks for listening, I'm so upset by it all, eh!, enough of that, how are you Trifley haven't seen a posting from you today, everything okay? My love to everybody, will be more focused tomorrow. Luv Jillx
