Early Evening Wattlers, Had a day in the garden today, then decided to watch our dvd of Phantom of the Opera as r.r how i love that show, saw the stage show 3 times in Aus and then saw it again in London and would see it again if it came on again. Laurie ~~~~ hugs to you , Yvette, I have just looked up the train times as I dident have a new timetable, as we are meeting at 11am Central by the looks of it I will catch the 9.28am from Corrimal thats a fast train lol gets in 10.58am. Hello Wafflers It's been a beeewwwdiful day up here. Graeme & I decided we'd do the touristy thing and go have a look at the Hinze dam. Mighty impressive when it has water in it....lol it was a lovely way to spend an hour in the sunshine. The Sydney meet looks as if it's going to be fun. So sorry I can't make it there. Don't forget to take plenty of batteries for the cameras.....we want lots of pickles! Aahhh...martoonie time....I'll be back! Love Trifley X |

Well my friends, if you look in the sky tonight you will see a new bright shinny star. Denny went to join all our angels this afternoon - so you can be sure there will be lots of laughter and joke telling going on. Such relief and such pain for Nancy & Bill and their family. Thank you all so much for your support and prayers for them, just one more to help them get through the next stage of grieving. Will catch up with you all tomorrow. luv Laurie |

Yvette - Im so sorry - I did see your reply this morning and it went over my head - I've just added your name to the list. .. I'll advise closer to the time about the trackwork details. .. The train getting in just before 11 is ok - we don't have to be right on time. Mary - you better give me your phone number (mobile) if we cant get in touch with you any other way. This is the actual restaurant we will be going to http://www*starcity*com*au/dir013/internetpublishing*nsf/Content/GardenBuffetRestaurant Jood <sorry for taking up all the space on here, all those who arent going :( > |

hi ya, i hope you got my reply re; 12 August. I'm hanging out to come. I'm catching the train. theres on that gets in at 9.56 (most probably be the one) and the next at 10.58. (sth coast line) Theres no track work on that weekend for me. are you coming Sandra? maybe we can meet each other on the train? I'm making sticky date for the last time this winter and am doing the sauce. Also making fish cakes and roast dinner and a couple of other things to keep the natives fed over the next couple of days. Last thing I want to hear is ' whats to eat?' Girls, when i'm being a bit of a piggy and have decided thats it! I put a big sign on the fridge ' Do not eat s**t ' sometimes specify - cakes, pastry, bread. mostly the sign works.. I read a good book , the new glucose revolution. Eating low GI makes a huge difference. bla bla bla bla. the new sign should be ' do not eat chocolate' had a good walk this morning, oh went too which was quite uncommon but pretty nice. gotta go again & check the dinner. love Yvette xx |

Having a quiet day today as we have been doing a lot of paper work, ie..advising of change of address and organizing all sorts of things, as I will be off line for about 2 weeks as from the 7th or 8th Aug. as you all know Telstra dont do things in a hurry and say it will take that time to re- connect us to the internet. Is that what they call service... Hope you all have had a nice day, and Jood any track work on the north shore line on that Sat...I may get a train from Roseville. Bacl later Love Maryxxx |

Suzy, Im just hoping they dont decide to do track work on the line on that Saturday. .. They provide buses instead. .. I have to say tho that the buses are fast, but they tend to wait for several trains before they move. .. I will drive my car to another station to bypass the bus if thats the case. ..Fortunately the City Rail people email me every week to tell me where the track work is being done that weekend. I have just rung Shaz to tell her I was rubbishing her .. Poor thing isn't well, but I hope she gets better soon. Jood |

Jood, I guessed that was what you was talking about. But I can't possibly have been as bad as our c***k up at Brisbane. Not only were we given the wrong station, there were some line repairs and we had to keep changing trains. No one at the stations seemed to know what the other one was doing. On our way home, Shaz and Rob and nev and myself were told we had to get on differnet trains aastheirs was straight through. The one we took stopped at every station and took forever. Shaz told me that we could have got on their train as it did stop at our station. All that and rain too. SuzyQ |

Hi Jood, It wasn't Shaz's fault in Brisbane. We were given the wrong station, thats why we got mixed up. SuzyQ |

Good Afternoon Wattlers, Another nice day here, infact it's getting warm. Laurie, my thoughts are with you and your friends. A hard decision but dare I say the best. I would have been my choice had I been in Denny's place. Shazz, double check which train station to get out at and also make sure there are no train works going on. LOL May I suggest you meet at the Casino to avoid any confusions. Does the casino in Sydney have a similar restuarant to the ones here. Water tanks, I don't know why we are allowed to drink tank water but you can't if you have town water laid on. We have had tanks at every home we have lived in except if we have rented, and much prefer the tank water. When we had the cafe the council made us clorinate the water and it was tested regularly, but we all complained that it was poison. I also would have voted yes to the treated water. It would have been put in the dams and I am guessing that it would be better quality than the dam water. Then it is treated before being sent to the homes. Don't forget the water in the dams has come from the hills and carried all the animal droppings and worse. My soap box for today. Lew I am disappointed, you could have a diet meal out. I am going to start when i have got rid of all the rubbish in the fridge. Don't need anything in there to tempt me. I am sorry to say that Sophie hasn't made any improvement. She is eating, thanks for the raw chicken tip Lew, she loves it, and I have cooked her some fish we she enjoyed. I managed to get the medicine down her this morning so we hope to see some improvement tomorrow, if not it will be another trip to the vet Hi Trifley, back to yourself I see, thats good news. You wouldn't want to go to Egypt just now would you? I would want to wait for peace in the area. Well, hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend Luv SuzyQ |
