Afternoon Wattlers. Jill, yes I agree the Phantom was better in Sydney than London. and yes we went to Leigh-on-Sea the last visit to UK and brought the cockles, whelks from the seafood shop there, we love the cockles but I am not a lover of the whelks but hubby does as well as jellies eels., we went to the end of Southend pier on the train. Yes love Rock Salmon was always a favourite of mine. Shazz hope your feeling better, if you have divertuticulitas(not sure on spelling) my mother had it a few years back it is a blockage of the pouches of the bowel so the doc said anyway eat more fibre is what they said lol, but it is very painful. Who asked about a birthday tomorrow I think it may be our Jood? Tassie. Glad your nan's surprise went well, you were worried about remembering all our names on the 12th I am sure most will get a name tag for the day????? Time to get the rabbit in before the sun goes down now don't laugh. Cheers Sandra in the Gong

My grandma died of consumption in 1922 she was 36. My dad was about 4 and his youngest brother was only 2 It was a terrible disease. I can remember being inoculated against it when I was 15. Eventually al the sanitariums were closed down in England but were opened up again when the Pakistanis and Indians started to come in in the 50's.. Tb is still a killer in some third world countries. Hi Jood and all, I am located in Baldivis at the moment, I say at the moment because we are always wanting to move even though we have been in this house 3 months. My hubby Shane knows Barry Cable but not related, even though we say uncle Barry. I originally come from London and came to Australia in 1981 and Shane and I have been married 8 years, he has taken me back to England 3 times since then to see my rellies, mainly my mother and I was lucky enough to see her just before she died 2 years ago. I am now waiting for some of my lot to come and visit me. As for my health, I have managed to get into see the Dr this afternoon, I think it's all the pills I am taking that have made me sick this last time, so will try and get that sorted. I too can be quite mad and like a laugh and joke so I should fit right in, a. See you all later Lorraine

It's okay Trifley, I am never likely to be a granny, was never a mummy. My cousin, David, who is now 54 has never married and his Mum has always wanted to be a grandma. Ofcourse she may be but doesn't know about it.

Hi Larraine in WA Welcome, There are quite a few of us that are sane and only get led astray occasionally. Mostly when Lew is dishing out colourful pills. Rebs can be a bit disruptive, but she is laying low at the moment, don't know why. We miss her. Some will even help with your FH. Luv SuzyQ
