Grin exercise for today . . . Six retired Irishmen were playing poker in O'Leary's apartment when Paddy Murphy loses $500 on a single hand, clutches his chest and drops dead at the table. Showing respect for their fallen brother, the other five continue playing standing up. Michael O'Conner looks around and asks, 'Oh, me boys, someone’s got to tell Paddy's wife. Who will it be?' They draw straws. Paul Gallagher picks the short one. They tell him to be discreet be gentle, don't make a bad situation any worse. 'Discreet??? I'm the most discreet Irishmen you'll ever meet. Discretion is me middle name. Leave it to me.' Gallagher goes over to Murphy's house and knocks on the door. Mrs. Murphy answers and asks what he wants. Gallagher declares: 'Your husband just lost $500 and is afraid to come home.' 'Tell him to drop dead!', says Murphy's wife. 'I'll go tell him.' says Gallagher :-)) Av Ah Good one !! luv Laurie

Good Morning Wattlers and a special hello and welcome to Laurie's new great nephew. You lucky boy, what a great family you've been born into. That blinking Cat just lurks about ready to bounce on our numbers, lol. There just doesn't seem any way to deter her! We had a great dinner last night with the car dealer and his wife. Started off with pumpkin soup with turkish bread, then scotch fillet on a bed of mashed pototoe and parsnip and garnished with asparagus. For dessert, we just had a cheese platter with dried fruits and plunger coffee. This meal was a combined effort between Terry and me. I had to laugh at the car dealer, Ross. Terry was checking at the RTA to make sure that our addresses had been changed and he discovered that the RAV had already been transferred to Ross, lol. So I told Ross he had better get my new car real quick or I smash up his RAV!!! I'm off to get some breakfast. Chat soon Lew Lew xxx

I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running.' 'But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security wandering near suspicious characters and listening in.' 'I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired.' The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog. 'Ten dollars,' the guy says. 'Ten dollars? Morning all .. Lovely sunny but cold morning here on the northern beaches.. Laurie Congratulations to the new parents of a lovely bouncing baby boy..and to you on your new nephew..We love them nomatter what sex they are.. As you said they are all lovely different shades of blue.. One warning .. When driving to Bathurst,, dont leave early in the morning as by the time you get to the Blue Mountains you will be in every school zone doing 40 and it will drive you mad as I think every school in the Mountains is on the highway..1 mile apart... Between the changes from 40 to 60 to 70 to 80 and back again it is a very frustating trip..alternativly try and get through the Mountains before 8am.. Shazz ..Glad to see you up and at it so early.. Hope you are feeling better..I really MUST read those books for Idiots,, May learn something...LOL Ann Your cousin is in good hands here.. We promise not to tell Wattle secrets and will try not to currupt her to much.. Good morning Waffling Wattlers, a bit of a smudgy day here on the Bay, the sun is trying to shine brightly, but there is a little bit of a haze. Only 2 giraffes with their heads held high, so must be busy on the docks. The new bubby daddy, Lance, had a good reply to the fact that they have a 6th son! 'There are so many shades of blue and they are all beautiful' Good Heavens Joodles, don't tell me that is ANOTHER thing I did wrong with my boys . . . I carried the Bonjella around with me when they were teething and used it whenever they needed it. As did most of my friends! Seems 'they' have decided that everything we did was wrong according to the experts today. (quiet frankly, never did mine any harm - couldn't stand to see them in pain) Jan must need another day off soon, so you can look after Lucas again. I haven't got my census form yet either . . . but seeing as how my census lady is my friend Nemhat downstairs I am not really worried. We will be doing ours online though. Gwenda, 3C done well to pick your house by the sound of it . . . got to laugh at how our pets take over! Jude . . . have had so much feedback from those I passed your Wayne story on to . . . cracked me up too!
