When I was little still living in England , I remember my mum taking me to the harvest festival at the church. I don't know whether it was the church close to us, or St Peters in Woodmansterne. Lammas is Harvest Festival (now I feel like a smarty pants) love Yvette xx

Dear Jilly, glad you liked the Merkin, thought afterwards at the effect it may have had on some, but it has a historical background. Many years ago, I was doing a sports program with some youngish lads who had come across this word and thought it was hilarious. Have since enlightened many people to its being. I think its great, it makles you think? How does that stay on? anywhow, earlier had the opportunity to have a look at what you were all up to. I think I'm too busy and need some quality internet time. I'm going to look at the 'who swallowed the dictionary' now. Think I should make coffee first and get comfy. love Yvette xx
