Yaaayyy...good on you Anna. That looks like a lucky number, maybe we're in for a win tonight. Fingers XXX'd Tony...I think I'll stick with my capsules....no fishy after taste thanks. Hi Sandra....with those animals from your daughter's farm, you should get a good manure......lots of variety.It's a pity you live so far away....we could do with some of that on our garden. A lot of our plants are looking very yellow, but with the restrictions it's not much good fertilising if we can't water. TX |

Evening Wattlers, How are you feeling now Pam? had that glass or two of chard yet, they were selling cleanskins for $1.99 a bottle at my local,at that price you could soak your feet in it. lol Ron takes fish oil tabs says it helps him. Both of his knees are in a terrible state, he's bone on bone in the right one, but because he's selfemployed he won't or can't take the time off to have the op. He says he'll have them done when he retires. SuzyQ have you tried tinned tuna for Sophie, (that looks like a tongue twister), lol, Trifley is Graeme going with you to the docs on Monday, if you want company just say, Monday is free for me. Sandra.Yes...i love Malt ( pure extract ). When Barb and i were in Singapore, we were sitting at a small cafe having a cold drink in Chinatown market. About 20 high school kids walked past us holding two chop-sticks, and twirling what looked like honey, and spinning around the chop-sticks like knitting needle's. I asked the lady in the shop what it was......Malt. Tony Oz...:>))) |

Tony Does it still give you many happy returns of that fish oil taste - even though it is disguised with cherry or whatever? Maybe if I swallowed it with a bit if dark chocolate I could pretend it was a Cherry Ripe - love Cherry Ripes! :>) Anna |

Arvo Wattlers...:>))) Well, did the son bit today, sanded and painted the kitchen ceiling for me mum, and did a few chores around the house. Funny though........she didn't give me any pocket money...:>((((( Lew. You mentioned Bright.( spent my Honeymoon there ) So beautiful down the main street in the Autumn ....In the 70s we had a holiday house at Mt.Beauty, and used it regularly many times a year. We and the kids, would BBQ and picnic at Bogong Lake ,Porepunka, Mt.Buffalo, ect..... I loved fishing in the Kiewa Valley river many a time, and also did a bit of panning there.........Haven't been to Bright since my wife died in the 90s, but thinking about it brings back so many happy memories. Anna. I still take Hypol, and have done all my life since i was a kid. Almond-vanilla flavour.In the 50s every day before school it was Hypol time.....and remember listening to Uncle Norman Swain ( spelling ) on the wireless, with his Hypol jingle. We also kept it stocked in our shop, as my wife and i ran a health food shop in Mitcham ( Melb ). To my mind it still is the best stuff around to help build resistance to colds and respiratory infections. Living proof of this claim, and you will never hear me say i have a cold. Desert spoon a day keeps Jack frost away..... Also love pure Malt, and still twirl it round a spoon....lol Then i found out they add it to V.B tablets.....:>))))))))))) Good luck to everyone tonight with the Lotto, we surely deserve a win.....even a polly waffle each will do. Tony Oz....:>)))) |

~~~~~~~~waves to Anna and SuzyQ. I take fish oil capsules for arthritis, don't know if it helps as I'm not game to stop. I've tried to convince Graeme and Mark to take it but unless I stand in front of them with the capsules and a drink they never think to take them. Men! SuzyQ...if your cat doesn't want the prawns you can send them down here. I love prawns! I'll ask Mark if he knows anything about sound cards when he gets home tonight. Hugs TX |
Hi Wattlers Gee a girl takes a break from here and comes back to 7 pages. Now I am having trouble what everyone has said so that I can reply. Sophie seems a little beter today. Looks like its going to be a slow recovery. I now need to get her interested in food. What does 3C like to eat. Any suggestions. She is even turning her nose up at prawns. We have spent all morning looking at putas for Neville and I am now more confused than when we started. Does anyone know anything about sound cards. We have been quoted anything from $300 to $500 for the one he needs. Then he wants one of the slim plasma wide screen moniter. Another $500 I may have to go back to work to pay for it. Jood The list I am using now is the correct one. I thought that I had sent it out to everyone. Will send you a copy. I am wondering what happened 9 months ago to keep everyone indoors. So many new babies. Perhaps we could spread the message to the couple in Germany. Congratulations to all the new grans, aunts, mums and dads. Hi Pam, how many days respite do you have before collecting the forms? I am guessing you will have made a few new friends along the way. I am getting very jealous. All this talk of the Sydney meet. It's a pity that Lew won't be there to pass on the straight jacket award. Or are we keeping that for Queensland? I am sure that the cinderellas amongst us will find some thing exciting to do. Well, I should move along and catch up with my emails. See yall tomora Luv SuzyQ |
Afternoon Wattlers Katherine thanks you all for your congratulations. It's been a busy few weeks what with rehearsals, practices with accompanist, attending the eisteddfod etc. We can all veg out for a while! My 6 year old 'grandson' who has ADHD has just started taking fish oil capsules - his doctor says that there is recent research to show that fish oil rich in omega3 can help behaviour problems. Jill - maybe you should start chucking some down your granson's throat!! It is also supposed to help asthma, excema, senility, heart problems - must be miraculous! I think I'd better start taking them too! Do any of you remember taking fish oil or Hypol when you were kids? My mother always made me take it to stop getting colds in Winter - it tasted disgusting!! Chris said his mother made him take it too. We presume the Child Health nurses used to recommend it as both our mothers religiously took us to the Baby Health Clinic! Glad the puddy tats are feeling better. Our 2 remaining guinea pigs - who have to stay in their inside cage in the garage if the weather is not pleasant are as fat as fools as they don't get so much exercise in Winter! Duffy Fluck - you must be pleased the distribution of the Census forms is complete. Now you have to gather them all up again! Are many people going to answer them over the net? We are. Is tonight going to be our lucky night? Fingers crossed everyone! Waves to everyone Love Anna |
