Laurie....lol..poor Kiwis. What would we do without them and the Irish? Who would all the jokes be about? Jill.....if you read the lables of most wine these days it mentions egg. Don't know why. If those chardy are 2006 they might taste ok in a couple of years. What was the name of the liqour store? I might keep an eye out down here for the same specials. Hi Ducky.....I doubt that many people will read the instruction booklet to understand about question 60. It's a pity it wasn't mentioned in those Ernie Dingo ads. I think I need some coffee to warm me up. See ya. love TX |

Good evening Wattlers . . . Well I get a nice quiet night - I managed to give my ticket for the Rugby Test against South Africa to friends hubby, so he and TLR have gone off to the stadium to sit in the cold, while I sit at home with my moosick, and no footy . . . Yeeeaaahhhh Pam, we will be doing our census return online - the more that do - the cheaper it will be because they wont have to employ the transcribers as long. So think of it as a thrifty little thing to do for the countries purse strings. (plus you would never be able to blame a transcriber for mistakes teeeheee). I am dissapointed that there hasn't been more publicity about question 60. TLR and I take Fish Oil Caps every morning, along with our 1,000mg of Vit C . . Dr gave him advice about 2yrs ago to try them for the pain of a spur on his foot rather than anti-inflamatory tabs - it has worked too - he very rarely has any trub with it, but does if I forget to keep the supply up. But, like your household Trifley, I have to put them out every morning with the drink to make sure he takes them. We grew up with the cod liver oil and the malt too . . . I luuuuuvvvv malt! Well SuzyQ . . . leave it with me - I will come up with the Sydney version of the Straighjacket award . . . I think I can guarantee an equal reaction to that achieved in Brisvegas !!!! PMSL Phew . . . that Tassie Devil just blew past . . . . Have a great time Sue, early birfdy celebrations !!! SATADAY NIGHT SMILE . . . . . Three Aussies and three Kiwis are travelling by train to a Soccer World Cup match in Germany. At the station, the three Kiwis each buy a ticket and watch as the three Aussies buy just one ticket between them. 'How are the three of you going to travel on only one ticket?' Asks one of the Kiwis. 'Watch and learn,' answers one of the Aussies. They all board the train. The Kiwis take their respective seats but all three Aussies cram into a toilet and close the door behind them. Shortly after the train has departed, the conductor comes around collecting tickets. He knocks on the toilet door and says, 'Ticket please.' The door opens just a crack and a single arm emerges with a ticket in hand. The conductor takes it and moves on. The Kiwis see this and agree it was quite a clever idea. So after the game, they decide to copy the Aussies on the return trip and save some money (being clever with money, and all that). When they get to the station, they buy a single ticket for the return trip. To their astonishment, the Aussies don't buy a ticket at all!! 'How are you going to travel without a ticket?' says one perplexed Kiwi. 'Watch and learn,' answers an Aussie. When they board the train the three Kiwis cram into a toilet and soon after the three Aussies cram into another one nearby. The train departs. Shortly afterwards, one of the Aussies leaves the toilet and walks over to the toilet where the Kiwis are hiding. He knocks on the door and says, 'Ticket please.' Cheers luv Laurie |

Glad you're ok Pam :) Enjoy your well earned drinks. We have done 8 planks so far and John is just getting the 9th in place for tomorrow. It's a mix of replacing the old split ones with new and reusing the old cleaned up ones! There are 18 in all so almost half way. Yes I am looking forward to the trip down the Murray river, but I want to do it in stages and John wants to just do it in one go!! We'll see :) He has 3months long sevice due. Adding my congrats to Katherine and to Hz's daughter. Kids are just so talented these days. Lovely to see them involved in such healthy occupations. better go and get some tea - just home-made pizza. ~~~~~~~~Vonny |

Wow - a girl goes away to entertain visitors and comes back 2-3 pages later in just a few hours! You STILL take hypol Tony - I didnt know it was still around. .. I'm coming down with yet another cold, so maybe I should take some. .. I think my immune system is not working properly at the moment. Funny you should talk about fish oil though. .. My skin (face and hair) has become sooooo dry of late. .. Not sure why, but I guess the aircon has a lot to do with it. .. It was suggested I take Evening Primrose Oil, and I just started yesterday, hoping for some good results soon. .. I do also take a tablespoon of flaxseed oil every day. Duffy Fluck - congrats on getting through the first part of your Census work. .. Hopefully the pick-up part will be much easier. .. Good to see you back. Sandra, will meet outside the barriers of the country railway station where we met last time - ok ? At 11.00am or as soon as we can around that time. Jood |

Have spent hours going through the past 20 pages and I have still only got through 10. Tony, glad your car's bill was decent. Had a service on mine only to find out the clutch has gone. When I had that fixed, there are other probs and the mechanic advised me to get rid of it 'real soon'. Only 5 yrs old. Tony, I think you jinxed Krissy's chance of having a little girl. Sorry your Mum will be disappointed today. Thought the tigers might do it. Lew, Will your car dealer give me a good deal ????? Vonny, you working this weekend ? How many planks today ? Do you really want to travel on the boat? Not my cuppa tea, suffer badly from sea sickness even on a mill pond !!!!. Mary, nearly there. I probably won't be around much for the next few weeks, so enjoy your new home and make sure you get to the meet. You will have a ball. How is OH ? Shazz, how are you feeling. You just be very careful going to the casino. Don't want to find your story on 'Without a Trace' LOL Jilly, how is the grandson. Jude 3, I am like you with your 'non canvas' painting. My THERAPY is weeding the garden or the lawn. Can always see where you have achieved something. SuzyQ, how is Sophie going, is she improving ? Did you get your census form? So many people have done the census on line already (before 8th Aug) and the bureau is not 'appy. Then why the hell did they have it on line so early. Won't be a problem getting on line on census night as they have the program available to accept 50-60% of everyone doing their census on line. They only expect about 10-15% to do it on line. Out of 450+ homes I went to, only about half a dozen said they would do the census on line. Gwenda, how is 3C Devilly Sue, Settle, settle, - single figures , yahoooooo. Not long now to the Sydney meet. Will send this marathon before I read the next 10 pages. Chardy starting to catch up Pam |

Trifley it's probably vinegar with a dash of sugar in it, don't get fussy now,lol Actually I bought a case it's not that bad, it's 2006 chard from S.E. Australia. I've just read the label wished I had'nt now. It's got 220 and 300, and wait for it, it's produced with the aid of egg and milk, now work that one out. pmsl Jillx |
