Morning all and Lew Lew, face clears up quite fast, surprisingly, - the ones on the hand a little longer. I'd say a few days for the face. My face is a bit of a mess, but it doesnt bother me in any way, because everyone has sunspots etc. removed at some stage or other. Tony as I said, face is ok - just wish I could shake this congestion off - especially as I am flying to Geelong on Monday for a few days. Fingers crossed. Laurie, glad you made it safe - see even the boys didnt want fugitives on the run in your house!!! Busy day today - rush rush - must fly. Shaz, morning to you - I see you lurking around lol Have a great day all. Jood

Yes, Wattlers, it's 3.20 am and I'm sitting here listening to the chainsaw chorus again! Wise decision you have made, Trifles. Gotta keep those baddies at bay. Jood, how long does it take for the spots to fade? You must look like a dalmation puppy *me thinks she might make a nice coat, heeee, heeeee* Mmmm, Laurie, family change the locks and don't give you a key. Any message there, lol? Thanks for the drawings Yvette. I'll have to laminate them and hang them by the pool. Still a bit chilly for swimming just yet, but I'll let you know how I go. Mary, I didn't get any pickles *stomps feet and pouts* Well, I'm going to play some of the word games then try to get back to sleep. Power outage from 9 'til 1 tomorrow, so you probably won't hear from me until late. Seeya Lew Lew xxx

Tony if you want to read about my bad rellies on the Old Bailey site - they got nabbed for doing the crime together, both ended up out here and got back together again and had a great tribe of kids. Elizabeth Phipps and James Westbrook - they are my 3 x gtgrandparents. Reading it I decided I didn't like my 4 x gtgran Susannah, I think she set the daughter up!!!!! Well ratted on her anyway !!! cheers luv Laurie ~~~~~~ night nite

Honey I'm Home !!!! But I'm home alone . . . . Just a quick message to let you all know I arrived safe & sound, got here and I didn't have a key to the house so couldn't get in until Glen came out after work. He changed the locks and Apparently I didn't have a new key, one Glen gave us went onto Rays key ring. . . Bonus was I got to see my Glen, and his gf Narelle, he is such a good bloke. Proud mummsy, but I am allowed to be! He got a great new job this week, still with Powerlink. He is ever so tall - I'm sure he gets taller every time I see him, (dont tell me I am shrinking . . . wont have it!) Another bonus is that TLR will fly into Brissie tomorrow evening instead of Friday morning, so I'm only home alone for one night. Going to have a read back on the waffle now and catch up with what you have all been up to and then I'm going to bed . . . in my very own special old bed. Glen helped me put the bed together before he headed back to the city, first time its been up in 5 years. I even put all the dags and dilburys around the posts. Now I feel like I am really home! Night all - hope all is well with everyone, catch you tomorrow luv Laurie

Evening Wattlers.A beautiful day, and an even more beautiful night in Melbin. The stars are out and the night sky is clear with a Quarter moon. Pam. Happy Anniversary to you and yours. Jood. Hope your feeling o'k mate. Gwenda. Your trip sounds great. I haven't been to Canada and its a must do on my next trip O/Seas..as i had Hull Ancestors in Winnipeg, Manitoba that are buried in Brookside Cemetery. Barb was there in 1989 and told me it is a beautiful Country. Perhaps she can win me a trip...lol Trifley. Thanks for your invitation to the B.B.Q in the Pacific. Afraid i have to decline, as my Leer Jet has a flat tyre..sorry mate...next time...lol Just been reading Proceedings of the Old Bailey. http://www.oldbaileyonline.org/ Dont know if any of the Wattlers had Ancestors that went through the Old Bailey, but Iv'e been sitting here reading some really good crimes for the last 3 hrs....lol You can do a Surname search. Seems there were a Few Hull's there ....LOL Lara. A few DAY ( Samuel ) there too,mate.....hee hee Us Crinamals affta stick together.....although i read that one has entered the Q.L.D border today...:>)) Its a great site with actual events of the crimes commited, and a copy of the written document as well. Here's one i was reading: Original Text:1822 514. WILLIAM GLADMAN was indicted for stealing, on the 22d of February, two yards of canvass, value 1 s., and one sack, value 1 s. , the goods of Benjamin Hull . ROBERT CHRISTIAN . I am an officer of Mile End. On Sunday morning, at quarter past six o'clock, I saw the prisoner and another lad at the back of Hull's house; the other one got over the rail, and handed something over to the prisoner, who put it in a bag - the other ran off. I secured the prisoner with the bag, containing the sack and canvass. BENJAMIN HULL . They are mine; I lost them out of my garden on the 22d of February. Prisoner's Defence. I found them. GUILTY . Aged 20. Transported for Seven Years . First Middlesex Jury, before Mr. Recorder. Love a good crime story..lol Hope everyone's had a great day. Tony Oz....:>)))

Never heard of it - but it sounds interesting. Niagara Within 10km of Kookynie, Niagara has declined even more sharply. The population in 1905 was 1,000 and is now nil. Almost nothing remains of the buildings, but visitors may find many old bottles and small relics of the gold rush days. Niagara Dam, was built in 1897 with cement carried from Coolgardie by camel-back. The surrounding area is rugged and scenic with good bird life, and is ideal for picnics. Please note the access road is not suitable for caravans. My rellies were looking for gold around Cue area - nah - they didnt find any. Off to bed I am, Night all Jood

yeah, there is a Niagara in WA. the kids relos went there in the 1800's - gold mining. They were farmers miners, (convicts) and free settlers. Also brick makers. They caught the ship from Victoria, (Euroa) and then train then overland. Pretty amazing stuff. Their coz. told us about it. i think there's still Hartley peeps about there. The women must have been soo strong. Apparently, they either had the kids out there or caught train boat train back to Victoria again. They made a big dam out there too and brought all the stuff in on camels. back on track, I would love a copy of your 1911 photo please jood.

Hi Yvette - no Niagara in WA??????????? I was talking about Canada and the US. .. Bumsoddy showed me a black and white pic of Niagara Falls frozen with ice. .. I think its only happened once. .. Should have kept it, looked beayooooootiful. Yippee I did keep it - its in sepia - if anyone wants a copy they can email me. .. It was taken in 1911 and is only 46kb Yes, zapped is better any time, tho I did have a dermatologist who was particularly vicious with his 'freezing', and I used to take 2 panadol before I even went to see him ! .. This present guy is good though. Jood

Duffy Fluck I was wondering what you and Vonny were carrying on about lol Brrrrr its cold here tonight even with the heater on. Me thinks bed might be nicer - the lecky blanket is already on. My face doesnt hurt at all, I just have a row of red blotches on both sides of my face and a cream round bandaid on the bridge of my nose where he nicked a bit out. 'He' being the doc! .. Hands are ok - they were itchy at first, but now I wouldn't know they'd been done. ('freezed over' I mean) .. Go and see your Doc Duffy - don't put it off. I'd say the fugitive is probably looking for another Macca's up there, or maybe she has actually arrived and not got power in her place. .. I'm sure we will hear from her soon. By the way, where is that rascal Wattie - is he still relaxing at Mudgee - I was wondering if he was booked for NY? Jood

Hi Trifley, how did things go today ? Are you p******d yet ? Sorry Donna, the rain didn't reach here. Gwenda, your trip sounds fantastic. The Falls are a truly amazing sight. If you get a chance, have lunch at the revolving restaurant. Magnificent view !!!! And while you are in NY, line up in Time Square and get cheap tickets to a Broadway show. I'm sorry I didn't see more shows but ran out of time. Did ya get the ironing finished? lol You tell him (OH) girl. Let him do his own thing and don't you worry while you are away !! Shaz, I have recently found a lady related on my Father's side (Kent, Eng) is married to a guy related to my Mum's side (Somerset, Eng). Me think this amazing !!!!! Small world. Tassie, this is going to make it easier for you, not having to scrub the walls and ceilings down. You can slow down a bit now and take it easier. Jood, the constabulary probably have the fugitive under observation. lol Jood, Vonny and I are stirring each other about her 'sick' jokes, but some of the others think they are funny !!!!! Oh what a weird sense of humoue some peeps have, and I thought I was strange. Btw, how is the face, something I keep putting off. Anna, still haven't gone for my ride yet. Will have to do it in the morning if it is fine. Don't mind if it is raining though. Lew has had a good teacher in the form of a puddy tat. Some of us are very 'respectable'. We know how to mind our p's and q's. take care all Pam

Sandra - daughter is 23 and making sure she gets her inheritance now I think - still owed from her first trip!!!!! I'm only counting down because the young ones at work can't believe I'm not excited - well I am getting a bit more with each day but moving house would be more exciting and a safer option at the mo - so long as I get there and back in one piece is all I ask for - all the sights and things we do in between will be a bonus. Mary - thanks for the piccles - you look so relaxed - now get back to your FH and knock some of those brickwalls down - lol Jood - hope your back to your beautiful self quickly Glad Laurie got over the borda without probs Dave wants to play on the puta so I guess I'd better let him have a turn. Got meat to cut for tea - not doing anymore cooking for him - got told 'I can cook' so he can do his own b****y cooking while I'm away - might lose some weight in the process - ooooohh Working tomorrow as well as usual 3 days so won't be on here until late arvo Gwenda
