Afternoon Wattlers, Jood ,Drysdale is next to Portarlington on the coast. And do bring warm clothes, its not bad today but the forecast is for rain and about 16/17 degs next week. Plus Geelong being on the water is always a couple of degs cooler than Melb. Wattle, thanks for the photo, hope you were careful climbing in the tree. With all our lotto tickets this week surely we can manage a win??? Catch up later, everything is crossed Flakey |

Hi all again, and to Trifley, Yes its the annual VIEW club convention I'm going to - 6 of us (all committee members or higher) are flying down with Jetstar to Avalon, and staying at Corio Bay - convention on Tuesday, dinner at night - a trip on steam train and a place called Drysdale (I think) - and at night a 'strictly elegant' dinner, fly out the next morning. .. I wont be 'strictly elegant' tho, that is way above my line of dress (tee hee). .. If the weather is anything like this it will be great, but I'm still taking warm clothes ! Jood |

Hi Wafflers Make mine a Polly Waffle or a Flake or a White Knight or a Violet Crumble.....ohhh...who cares? Anything with choccie! Cilla...I hope the blood tests and CT scan results are ok. Big healing hug for you. Yvette....I could sleep in ANY morning, work or not. Jill....aahhh, love roast anything. Can I have a doggie bag? heee heee Princess DIY....don't work too hard, it is the weekend after all. SuzyQ..you seem better. You must be to have put so much work in to that Lotto list. Take it easy and get plenty of rest. We want you at that Canungra mini meet. Relaxing, healing thoughts on their way to you. Mary....sorry to hear your neighbour had a fall but it was great that you were there to help her. Call it Karma, Fate, Luck or whatever, you were obviously meant to be there to lend assistance. There is always a reason why things happen. Joodles....is it the VIEW convention you are going to in Geelong? Ohhhh Tony...being at the birth of a child must be a wonderful experience. I was under anaesthetic and Graeme was outside the theatre when Mark was born. Perhaps if this pregnancy is different from the last one it might be a wee boy! Donna...it is sunny and warm here at the moment. That should dry out the field for Zack. While it is sunny I think I might take Jessie for a walk. 'Byeeee love Trifley X |

Boy if we don't each win a enough for a plasma something wrong eh Have any of you seen this site its about different communities and their histories so maybe there would be something there of interest to some of you http://peoplesvoice(.)gov(.)au/menuf(.)html. Trifley go girl way to go not even Prouds mate Michael Hill 's betterer and some of the Jewellery shops in Cairns OMG I've caught Mums hobby of not being able to resist jewellery catalogues and what's in them Jood pm'd you lovie re lines of lotto we agreed to get ten lines so you were right nbut up here and apparently other states too can't get quick pick for ten lines only 12 so thats how that happened with me and some others got a touch of CRAFT I think . Tony Ok will confess now you made me feel guilty didn't make scones me self bought pkt mix as my last lot were like drop scones or rock cakes and they all laughed at em so I thought I'll fix them and I won the prize hehe but had to tell them they saids thats ok mixed with my own mitts and put in oven and took out so I get to keep certificate LOL so I guess you'll stay with Barb now pmsl. you should have seen them will see if can get one of the photos someone took. Aren't old houses wonderful , tony we have had real fun matching things up in the cottage. I have been able to install Picasa so I'll finally have some new photos on GC next week. well have to go Ken is threatening to make me walk 10km home if I don't get of here. Morning. Jude Princess DIY. Have added your numbers to list mate. Think there may be one more lot to add, Lyn.( who i think is madly rushing out this morning to buy one ) So that just about makes everyone has bought a Quick pick. Last count was 286 lines. Rang Daughter number 3 this morning to see how bub's is cooking/progressing.( as she is 7 months now )...and got. *Cant understand it..... First baby was such a breeze, but this one is giving me hell.......hee hee Which leads me to believe, and that old saying.....No two pregnancy's are the same. I have been invited to the birth, so looking forward to that, as this will be my 2nd out of my 4 Grandchildren i have seen come into the world. The miracle of birth.....a must for all blokes, and i have always firmly believed that every man should at least witness one birth in his lifetime. Carpet is up,underlay is up, nails punched down, wood putty done, and now off to hire floor sander. The biggest pain in the bum of renovating these old homes is the matching up of materials, as they were in imperial sizes ( in ye good ol days ) and now with metric, trying to match up gets really difficult. We/ Barb...lol............ have decided not to extend bedroom frontage, as it is a woman's proactive to change her mind, and who am i to argue.......:>)))) Lara. Hot Scones with butter Jam & Cream...YUM.... Are you a single woman.......by any chance..!!!!. Barb cooked a Scone once, but it fell of the table and cracked the floor tiles. ( jus jokin...luv her to bits ) Hope everyone has a great day. Off to the Hire place..i must go. Tony Oz....:>)))))) |

Jude (Princess) glad you liked Mandurah - I hope you went to other places as well. .. I was wondering if the train line will be finished before I get over in December? .. Must ask my sister. .. I can then go down by train and visit all my friends and rellies. .. One year I caught the train the other way to a cousins, the next day cousin dropped me off at a friends, after a cuppa, this one dropped me off at another friends where I had lunch and I think the last friend dropped me off at the bus station lol Jood |

Hi there, Make mine a chokito also please. I want to know who is going to check all the tickets. Maybe we could do it in rotation so we all check just one ticket as long as it isn't our own. SuzyQ checks Flakey Flakey checks Tassie Tassie Checks Yvettes Yvette checks Laurie Laurie checks Vonny Vonny checks Anna Anna checks Lara Lara checks Trifley Trifley checks Leah Leah checks Judy Yv Judy YV checksJood Jood checks Jill Jill checks Fluffy Fluffy checks Lew Lew checks Tony Tony checks Mary Mary checks SuzyQ We all check Wattie and the regular numbers. Sorry if have missed any. What do you think? Ofcourse those who want to check them all are crazy. Just kidding. Who idea was this anyway? And I thought I had to buy a $10 ticket not a 10 line ticket. Why did Mary get 30 lines ? Felling a bit better today, hopefully I will make Tuesday, what time? Also I don't think the outpost is licenced so if you want a drink with lunch I think it will have to be BYO, unless we change the venue to the pub or RSL. Hi Sylvia, I hope you become a regular, it is always nice to have a chat with you. I may be a bit behind, but did the family moe back near you from Broken hill? Cilla, I also missed the snake and cat story, but I hope all is well now. Well, can't stay long, go a visitor Catch up later today SuzyQ |

Good Morning Wattlers Have been trying to keep up with the thread all week but its been mostly a loosing battle. Jood Mandurah was very relaxing lovely walks along the beach, I had a rest from doing all the cooking as I managed to convince Ken to cook meat, chicken or fish on the BBQ everynight, had a dishwasher in the apartment so got off very easy- lol. didn't want to come home but thats always the way of it.The new rail line from Perth to Mandurah will be a blessing for them I'm sure. Its certainly a go ahead place WA. Didn't get to have fish and chips at Freo but did have delicious coffee and Ken had a really yummy desert (according to him). Morning all You put us to shame Fanny! All that energetic exercising. Fanny - I get the lotto results on line every week!!! They take about 10 minutes to come through. Then I copy and paste for you lot on here. Seems like Laurie has spent some of our winnings already, with birthday presents, trips to the archives, mussels on the beach in the UK. Mary I love the markets on the beach at Darwin too. Altho Alice is nice, I love the drive to the East and West McDonell Ranges, I love Dalhousie Springs, in NT, Carnarvon Gorge in FNQ - thems just a few of my favourite things (sorry places). .. I always say you could spend months in FN Qld alone. .. (reminiscing now!) Lots of jobs to do today, but as usual no energy or inclination to do them. .. To have some of Mary's energy would be great. Have a great day all, Jood |

Good evening Wattlers . . . Well our Wattle Day is nearly over, but Spring is here good and proper! So sad . . . we couldn't do any jobs around the house today as we realised Glen still had the keys to the shed. (any excuse will do) So after a phone call from tomorrows bride, who is all in a tizz cause she has so much to do - we offered to do some of the jobs for her . . like go buy the guest register book, and pick up a rellie off the plane. The rellie bit was easy, then the buying of the book led us to Garden City - where we spent the rest of the day! Leg weary but most happy with retail therapy we purchased prawns and headed to friends over the creek and have spent a lovely evening with the prawns, the chardy & the friends . . . the friends Chris & Sue are the only ones to survive the evening with us !!!! The lovely Ray was seen leaving the jewelry shop with pretty little bag all taped up so I cant get inside !!! (Just putting the kettle on to see if steam does the trick) he says I have to wait till Sunday!!! Wattie, you look right at home up the tree - thanks Lew. Goodness gracious - how exciting all them numbers in tomorrows draw . . . and I will be off line . . . eating wedding cake! sms's are welcome !!!!! Instead of a Kit Kat Tony, I want a chockito bar !!! Please ????? (Though one of them plasma thingys in the cabin on the cruise will do just fine) Mary, before I go to Kew with you will you remind me to buy a little scanner so I can copy direct to puter all the things I want copies of !!! Oh and I will need a day down at the records office at Canterbury Cathedral too !! Sandra, lets have mussells together down on Whitstable beach !!! RB - dont worry about what is happening at home - not your problem, the OH can look after it all and have the mess cleaned up before you get home. Enjoy your holiday !!! Di, TLR is still laughing his head off at the lady with the steering wheel . . . says he is going to get one for me !!! Hope you all have a lovely weekend - Vonny will have left already, and hopefully the football ground will be ready for the big game on Sunday (might be good luck - the opposition might be useless on the wet ground) Night all - off to check some more mail and hit the sack cheers luv Laurie |

do you know you can see the lotto results online. I'll only be in front of the tele for dr who and then i'm back up the hall to my dungeon. I am the worlds worst tv viewer. It's supposed to be another grand day here in S/harbour tomorrow. 27 or something. Can imagine there will be a few sunburnt noses getting about.Traditionally its my first day of swim in the sea on father's day. I so look forward to it, and mostly the weather turns it on for me. I anticipate going for a little paddle in the kayak maybe a spot of fishing and then immersion. By doing it on fathers day i never have to remember the date or mark it on the calendar. Possum doesn't even know about the wattle lotto. Doesn't care about fathers day either, so we thought just for something different, we might get him a present. Hi raggy bear! your holiday seems to have gone really quickly. Trifley, surely you don't need any more tiaras. Night lovely wattlers Yvette x |

Gidday Raggy, glad you are having a good time in Perth. You will enjoy the footie - dont tell the others, because the footie they play there (in Perth) is different to what they play here (In Sydney). If you are going to Subiaco, then I have been to that very same oval watching grand finals. .. Have been known to arrive about 10 in the morning to get a good seat, and then sit under the groundsheet while it poured all day. lol. Ok Tony - maybe it will be one of my 10 lines that wins anyway !!! I'm outa here and off to bed. Night all Jood |
