Annie, I'm very sorry to see you're injured and I sympathise. Having had several similar accidents myself in the past, I know how easy it is to do yourself lots of harm by a simple fall. I hope you're not too badly hurt and don't suffer too long. As for your husband - typical. Mine would be just the same. No sympathy, and even if you're obviously in agony, all you get is 'Oh, have you hurt yourself?'. A bit late to say it but - Take care! CB >|< X

Poor Annie! I hope you threw husband's shoes at him, its all his fault. I'm always tripping over my husband's and son's shoes and I just collect them and throw them into the hall cupboard. It's OK to have a go at the sherry. It's medicinal. But you sound as though you might need to use a straw. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. nell

Was not going to tell anyone as you would all say i have been at the Sherry.I had a fall last night.Tripped over hubbys shoes and i have smashed my face up.Think my nose is broken and it has not stopped bleeding, inside my lips they are bruised and are stopping me eating and bruising on my face. All i got from hubby was 'whats all that noise' Annie Just got back from the walk in centre looking like a monster.Even sunglasses are not hiding my eye.Glasses hurt to wear as i have a cut on the bridge of my nose.Ulcers have developed in my mouth.I think i realy need a vet to put me down. But it all comes down with putting ice on my face for the swelling nothing they can do.My poor husband is so sorry. He is an immaculate man and never leaves nothing out, thats why you walk around not looking.Thank you everyone for your concerns and i will be propping my glasses on the end of my nose.Thank You X
