Can sympathise with you ( I had a serious fall onto my face a few years back and know how painful it can be.) Oh Grannie, I feel for you, I really do. I fell on the ice before Christmas and smashed my face up, sounds similar to your injuries - had gouged a piece of flesh out of the bridge of my nose and it wouldn't stop bleeding. I looked an absolute sight and my nose was painful for a couple of months. It's the shock & pain and knowing that it's your face which is visible to everyone makes it even worse. I am better now, but was neurotic about taking another tumble for weeks. Hope you are getting loads of TLC - your face will mend, it just takes time. Take care. Jay

Hope that you are ok Annie. Did the same a few years ago on holiday so know how you are feeling. Didn't go to the doc because I was in Spain and didn't trust them, but luckily my face looked better than it felt. Didn't dare go to sleep that night in case it looked worse the next morning! Know it's a bit too late, but look after yourself and make sure that hubby of yours waits on you hand and foot! Maggy
