Our Holly wont eat cat food with fish but likes 'human' food such as tinned tuna, salmon, cooked fresh salmon, prawns 9although too many make her chuck up1). She likes the food in small packets, prefers the ones in jelly and when she has left it longer than an hour refuses to eat it. She also likes cheese, crab paste, pate (on toast). Oh and she wont drink tap water unless it is boiled and cooled but prefers water from the water feature which is out of the rain butt. (I read that cats can smell the chlorine in tap water. ann glos

Diana I bet she only eats the kebab meat when she's had a skinful though lol! My dog is a shocking eater - eats about every 3 days and won't touch any tinned dog food. We give her 'complete' food but she carries each piece into the room to eat - drives us mad! She does love cheese though! Debby

My first ever cat, T.C still lives with my mum, he eats the weidest stuff... He likes fish and chips (from the shop) with mushy peas....Tomato soup with crusty bread..... Peas.......fishfingers with tom sauce..... tuna butties.....and carrots.. He was found by me.. and the boyfriend at the time up on otley chevin hanging around the pub, the locals had put out scraps for him but no-one could catch him, until i did that is.. I can only think that he lived on whatever he could get hold of and thats why he has a taste for unusual cat food.... BTW, he's a massive fatty... lou xxx

My dads cat is similar... won't eat the food if he's walked away from it once, and is more likely to eat if my dad stands and supervises !

Glenys - you must be mad if you think I'm telling her she's famous..... the madam is madam enuf without thinking that!! :O)

Vanessa - i tried her on Pilchards in tomato sauce - she licked the lot off and left the pilchards!! :O)

Keith - Clic's has that look off to a tee babe!! :O) Gerri - yes Clic's is like that too but doesn't mouse these days as only has 3 working legs..... she was run over and one leg is partly paralysed, not that she notices!! xx

My two Minstrel and Smartie are the same they won't eat anything with fish in it. But Minstrel loves tomato sauce and Smartie likes crisps especially salt and vinegar!!

Nope not orange, she's a long haired black and white poodie tat (hence called guinness) and when I went to the rescue centre she was sat upright as proud as you like looking very snooty but what was so funny is her previous owner hadn't groomed her much so she was 3/4's BALD where there had shaved her to remove the knots!! :O)

You havent borrowed MY cat have you? Sounds just like My 'Mouse' lol When she comes in from roaming she meows till I answer her.(like saying 'Im home! helloooooo!) I forget myself when I have visitors and shout out....Meow!!!! they KNOW I'm mad so it doesnt matter LOL Red faced Gerri lol

ALL cats are weird with food. Recently had to go back to NETTO with about a dozen various tins which Cringe had rejected, he would only eat Duck with Heart. Got 12 tins of Duck with Heart. Looked at me with 'that ' look and started to eat biscuit which he never does. He still lives - just. :-)(

Midge, one of our cats, loves cheese. Only problem is, he's a bit of a porker these days and on a bit of a diet (thankfully not a vet-induced one! lol). So Clicquot's not alone there; seems to be a bit of a thing, cats and cheese. By the way Diana, tell her she's famous where we are! On the main road about 3 mins away from us is a wholesale store for wines, and her name's plastered on one of the windows! x

Yes she has got me wrapped round her paws!! And yes Jill..... she was called Guinness when I rescued her but we renamed her on here and someone said Black Velvet as in Guinness and Champagne and I had a bottle or 3 in the fridge of Verve and so hence she got her name!! :O)

hmmmm sounds like a fussy cat ~ we have one of those ~ spend ages boiling fish (and omg at smell) for her too turn her nose up ~ her fav food is Sheeba chicken in tiny yellow tins! xx

She won't eat FISH, not even tempted with Prawns, she won't eat the cat food if she's walked away from it once.... it has to be thrown and a new portion put down! She likes KEBAB MEET (Daddy's I might add as I don't like it) and she quite likes Cheese! Is she another animal in disguise?
