Thanks for that Roxanne. As you wish Bob. Personally I think it's a little tasteless to compare a Biblical story to what I see as the worst atrocity of our age. Without labouring the point and with very little knowledge of it myself, I imagine that the effects of gas in the human body can be seen as burning. That's arguable of course.

David, Your Welcome. The gas they used was zyclon b a very powerful gas, like breathing in sulphuric Acid, so yes David It would be like being burnt alive from the inside. Roxanne

No!! That's not what I'm suggesting..of course I know about the holocaust...hmph :-(( What I mean is shouldn't people be allowed to have their own opinions about things no wonder how crappy they are??

Robert: it's not so much as being imprisoned for not believing in something per se, it's as much to do with the ideology on the periphery of the 'disbelief'. You also have to keep in mind the influence this guy has on people. As an academic, this guy is often proffered as a 'reputable' and substantiated voice for those with far right neo-nazi ideologies. Also, it's one thing to question the numbers involved but to dismiss it outright is another thing entirely and is as dangerous as it is ridiculous. The important thing here is that to say it never happened denies any opportunity to learn from what happened.
