I DO know, that if while driving, I come across a jam of traffic, that no matter what other route, I try...........it appears to be worse than the one i was trying to avoid, in the first place.............is that So*s Law? or Murphy's? , oops cant be Murphy's, cos that comes in a glass...........LOL Bob

Oh no nothing like that. Seems a bit of a cop-out philosophy to me.

Luciacw

Luciacw Report 18 Mar 2006 23:26

It's a philosophical term that I find really difficult to get my head around. Essentially it means a belief in nothing. Existance is pointless and that moral values are worthless. I don't know where I plucked that question from but I don't think there is any meaning to life - we just are. We live, We die...the end :-)

I am a firm believer in fate, BUT you have to create your own chances. Tina

Mandy Report 18 Mar 2006 23:15

The older I get the more I believe in fate ............ everything happens for a reason, even though at the time you may not understand why ........ at some point you will. :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Luciacw

Luciacw Report 18 Mar 2006 23:14

That is interesting..do continue :-) I wonder, do you believe in that soul mate stuff?

DAVE B

DAVE B Report 18 Mar 2006 23:12

I think its more percentages really Lucia! I think everybody has their share of both good and bad luck it probaly evens its self out over our life. Davex

Daniel Report 18 Mar 2006 23:11

As much as you have tried, I shall avoid talking about Noel and the God game that DOND, but answer the main question. Yes I do believe in fate, but there is no set path to how that fate is reached.

Luciacw

Luciacw Report 18 Mar 2006 23:10

I notice that people on 'deal or no deal' believe that if they think blue and hold hands it will be blue and if someone has experienced bad luck then it is inevitable that something good will happen. I'm sceptical about that hmm :-)
