Gwen, Camp coffee in a bottle, my dads favourite, wouldn't drink any other coffee. Black & Gr**ns tea..........saving stamps? Mum saved them by the cart load, dad got so fed up he hated the tea, so he sent them off, to see what they would send him. He got a metal ruler and a poker. Was he ever mad......we burnt coke (no, not that kind lol), But not to be outdone, he wanted to test the poker out...just to get the feel of it he said.......Men! So he set to and burnt a pair of his old working shoes, so he could use it.....when he was happy it worked, he put it away and saved it.....it came in handy later, when we moved to a house with a coal fire. lol. He was happy with the ruler though, he went around measuring everything for the next month, including us............. Should have seen the look on mum's face though, she was inscenced........you'd have thought he'd robbed the Bank of England lolol Lin |

Gwen, We had great picnics with our Primus, kept in a deep, metal biscuit tin. We even took it out with us before we had a car. It sometimes meant coaxing my sister to walk for a while so that we could put the Primus in the pushchair....... and that's what that looked like too, ie. a chair with wheels. Gwyn |

Sure do Gwyneth, If you took them back the following week, you got a refund, remember lol............The lorry had sloping sides,, so all the bottles could be well seen on display, and you went mad screaming which ones you wanted. Lin |
