This site was recommended to me by a colleague, I joined, I read a little (maybe not enough at the time). I thought I would like to share something with other members so I paid my dues and started to relate from my role-play character, apparently I was wrong to do this, I’ve been told I need to build peoples’ trust although how I do that without posting I don’t know. I’ve not been accustomed to having prove myself, when I joined a role-play group they didn’t ask for character references, they assumed that I had a genuine interest in the subject and was therefore accepted. I don’t intend to continue with my thread so have decided to delete it. My thanks to Gwen for trying to explain the way things work on here. Regards JaX Hooroo

What I find disturbing is the number of people who don't believe you are 'new' to the chat boards...... I have been on here for more than I care to remember.......lol...(just messin) What you have to remember is that people have been adding on other sites......and are not new to the 'chat'. They may be 'new' to the site is all! Stel.xx

Thank you for your replies Small but....Wendy I haven't done any online roleplay, I started on Fighting Fantasy books took a like to them, after that I got involved with some colleagues generating characters for Star Trek roles the Klingons were my favourites. My Lady Estelle, it can always be Sunday in role lol Camberwell I'm afraid this minstrel doesn't sing, he relates stories and asks riddles. JaX

Hi Minstrel, I enjoyed your riddles too - although I always missed by a mile! As for role play - Do you play with those dice with about a million sides on them?? I know my son and his friends were into Warhammer (or something like that) such long faces if their character was killed off! LOL I came across some of his books a while back (or should I be calling them game plans???) You want them - they're yours! Mags xx
