LOL Sue!!, They are born entertainers, and not ugly!! Their faces are full of character. Doesn't matter if you're sat on the sofa when the Bully run starts!

It is wonderful having a dog, but as they say - its for life - so you must be happy and the dog must be happy. I have to say there is a springer just down the road - he is a lovely dog but so hyper that the lady who owns him says she refuses to take him out - the husband has to - because she just cant control him. Says her arms are nearly pulled out of the sockets - and yes, he goes to training classes 2 times a week and wears a halti, so they really are trying. Although it may seem funny for an outsider to see a boisterous mad dog when you are out, imagine how that would be day after day at home.

Heather - know the feeling! Bobbin has a halti, have tried a harness and even a choke chain - absolute nightmare to walk with any! AND cant be trusted off lead either unless enclosed - and even then she'll find a way, either under or over something! Totally zaps you! stil love her though jess x

My Daisy was a cross between my friends mongrel and the Labrador down the road, and you couldn't have wished for a better dog - she was so good and patient with kids, everything. We were so sad when she had mammary cancer and despite an op, died a few days later. Wouldn't have put her through the op if I had known she would not be with us for long. She was 12 when we lost her. Would love another lab preferably a chocolate one but don't think I will ever get another one like Daisy. Bless her.
