I was saying 'Yes' it was true my thread was reported. Haven't reported someone else's thread for AGES (and even then just did because it was about someone who wasn't here to defend themselves).

PS why have added cowardliness to your title ? If something in a thread offends me now I go straight to abuse and ask their opinion on it (rather than ask for removal) The reason ? Because when Ive done direct to the poster of the offending whatever, I've either been ignored or belittled by either the poster or a crowd on a thread for asking for something to be removed. Or they just delete after a polite pm request, then go on to post a thread stating they have been asked to remove their post/thread etc...which then goes on to mass micky taking. That's why most people go direct to genes with a complaint.

No worries..... I used the word on another thread too but that seems to still be here!! :O(

Sorry for dragging you into it Diana as an example. Elaine, i don't know for sure, but it seems like that way to me!

Paul don't take it personally - I've had threads removed because the mention a certain charity even if it was asking for donations!! :O( But yes it should be one rule for all!! xx

How do you know that Paul ? There are millions of members on GR, many read the board and dont parcipitate ...some do, some are full members, some are not, all can read the board and complain if they see something that offends them. If you do swear on your posting/thread, however mild, you must expect someone will object, and when they do, I see no point getting annoyed over it when that posting/thread is removed by abuse. Ginny, that doesn't bother me so much. What bothers me is that this person or persons have got my thread removed, but not other peoples. Others write the same word all the time, and don't get their thread removed. And without dragging Diana into this, her thread wasn't removed, and she posted the same word! Surely that proves it's an attack on me rather than the contents of the thread.

Liz you're right I remember Bec's thread being deleted cos she said her finger or something was bleeding ! Julie xxx

Well the boards have been fairly quiet this morning and I know it wasn't me lol. If an individual was offended why did they not just say, either on the thread or to Paul by PM. If I thought that I had offended somebody I would like to think that I am ADULT enough to handle the offended individual approaching me by pm and telling me, rather than 'running to teacher' !

Excuse me for interrupting, but I don't think Bec said it was she who reported a thread. She was saying one of her threads had been reported. At least, that's how I read it, and I vaguely remember it happening. Liz

I saw that Ginny. I'm sorry but i've taken this attack very personally. I've seen people post a lot worse, and that stays on. So it's obviously a personal dislike for me. Oh and by the way, I have heard about this email going around about me and some other members slagging us off. Surely you can say it to our faces?

I sent GR a message asking why it was removed, they sent me this back. I can confirm that this thread was removed as there was swearing it in and we had a complaint concerning this. Thats absolutly pathectic. Diana set up a thread saying the exact same word, and hers has not been removed. This shows the level of this persons personal hatred for me, and the extent on their bullying ways. Absolutly childish and pathetic.

If Rebs thread is anything to go by this thread will be deleted very soon. Jean x.
