Oh how sad and so young. It affects so many people in so many ways. It is very humbling how brave these people are.

Just over a year ago I took part in the GB relay. At work we have always supported Cancer Research and especially anything which supports breast cancer....the best friend of our boss has fought this for over four years and there have been many highs and a good few lows. Highs when she was declared clear, took part in a fashion show in London and met a lot of celebs....highs when she got a modelling contract .....lows when the cancer returned in bones and other places....lows when she lost her hair again and was told it wouldn't grow again. But she wore her baldness with pride and looked beautiful. Yesterday she lost the fight.....she hoped to reach her birthday on May 27th - her 33rd and she leaves a daughter of eight. A prayer please for Ruth an amazing, courageous and beautiful young woman.
