Just re-reading the Beiderbecke trilogy by Alan Plater. they were a series on t.v. as well, apart from being very funny it's about where I grew up in Leeds and the school is my husbands old 'alma mater'.....Plater calls it San Quentin High...............

Dee, mmmm.... I've got about 100 pgs left to read. I thought the idea was good, but the characters seem a wee bit wishy-washy to me. I would recommend it though, Kate x

Brave New World.......what a surprise! lol Kate.....I'm thinking of putting a Mark Billingham up for nomination in the next GReaders vote. I haven't read Burning Girl yet, but the couple that I have read have been great

I am reading B**llocks to Alton Towers, which my son bought me. It is interesting but quirky.
