My g-g-grandfather - the Black Horse in Abbey Street, Bethnal Green. Don't even think the street is there any more!

Trish did you really what years? My dad worked at Hatters lane a good few years after I had left and Mrs Phipps still remembered me and my friend.

Jean, they pulled my parents house down and built a block of flats :-((((( Dawnie, I went to Wycombe Marsh, Spring Onions and hatters Lane too - the worst years of my life at Hatters Lane. Got to go for a while, dinner to cook - again!!!

My 3x great Uncle and Aunt ran the Grapes in Filey, and the Cross Keys and Kings Head in Nafferton, Yorkshire. My 2x great Grandfather and Grandmother ran a beer house in Ridge, Hertfordshire

one of mine lived next door to one, the white hart in threehouseholds, chalfont st giles. visited there last week, think the car park has replaced the house, shame. jean

Trish We lived in Deangarden Rise . I got married at ST Peters Church Loudwater, went to school at Wycombe March, Spring Gardens and Hatters Lane sister went to Wycombe High. Parents only moved away 2 years ago.

Dawnie, it's in my filing system - give me an hour or two and I'll find it. Where abouts did you live? My parents house was on the main London Road, just before Hammersley Lane heading out of Wycombe towards Loudwater.

How many can we claim between us? My G Grandmother ran one somewhere close to High Wycombe - got the name of it somewhere, will insert when I find it. Another ancestor ran the Green Man at Prestwood. Can we have a good pub crawl between us?
