Paul You are just an oldie who took a couple off weeks out of the madness ! ( runs away quick ) A newbie is someone who is new and unfamiliar with the site and boards. They may have not used the site/board for long . They may be unaware of netiquette on the boards. It may also take a few months to lose this sort of status, depending on how that new person conducts themselves and behaves on site. Some drop the newbie tag very early, some it takes much longer...some who think they can do and say what they like and flout T & C take even longer than that. Those who join and cause/add to arguments immediately are just called Trolls Elaine x |
