Looks like their are a few of us who don't know our own mobile numbers! I know my daughters off by heart - have tried to learn mine but its just not one of those flowy type of numbers.So instead it is in my phone listed under 'me', so that I can at least produce it if required. Not to worry - after almost 20 yrs in Oz I dialled 999 when my work car was stolen from off the front lawn. How was I to know the emergency number here is 000? Lyn

I am so glad that i am not the only one that does not know their mobile number, but I do know half of the landline number. Lindy ;-))))

Yes I know mine, made a point of learning it, when I had to fill out some forms,my two daughters were with me,the cashier said do you know your mobile number? they looked at each other,and gave that little smirk,as if to say mum wont know that. But little did they know, I showed them up,by adding,would you like my email address as well. Felt quite chuffed with myself. trish xxx

Had to put mine in the phonebook too as couldn't remember it and I don't give it out much either, usually give out the landline no. I can remember my son's cos I used to dial it so often before I had a mobile. Funny tho, I can still remember my mum's Co-op divi no.

Not me! Pleased to know I'm not the only one though. Have to look at husbands number in my mobile's phone book then change the last 4 digits .... Margaret

Hi Julie Anne....hows you? As for mobile no........no I dont know mine........phoned 999 once cause an old man had been clipped by a van. When they put me through to the right dept the op said....my moblie number to the op, they then asked me for my moblie to which I replyed I dont know it but you do cause he just told you..............LOL Suzy :o) x

I'm terrible for it though!!! My hubby may wave to a car becoz it's so and so....i say no it's not so and so's car number is blah blah blah de blah....hubby immediatly goes into huff coz he's wrong and he KNOWS i'm never wrong with me number plates....i can't seem to stop myself when we're in the car even though i know it's gona coz an arguement it's like that obsessive compulsive disorder or sumfink!!!! Pin numbers.....no prob for me...which is v handy for hubby as he's useless at remembering his so just asks me!! Computer ping numbers....no prob......landline numbers no prob(one of my mates actually phones me for a number coz it saves her taking ages going through her address book!!............addresses that's another one for me that's no prob...........email addresses.no prob.............blimey my list is bigger than i thought and i could go on still :-))))))))))

rag dolly anna my sons same as you , he can remember number plates, figures , and countrys flags, if i ask a name of footy team players he has answers dates , bonkers dont know where he gets it ,me an his dad not that smart

no i cant remember it because it is too like my catalogue number and i cannot remember that because it is too much like my mobile number doh! tina x

not me, we got back this afternoon and I said someones rang but dont recognise the mumber. daughter rings it back and my mobile rings, turns out it was mine.lol jean

My son is a whizz with number plates too Rag Dolly - I can't remember mine either - especially the numbers - is it some form of dislexya (sp)

I know mine!!! And most of the ones that are in the phone's wee directory :-))))))) I also know most of my village's number plates....strange thing i know but i do!!! Apparently when i was in school they found out i have one of those photographic memories which kinda explains why i do that sorta fing..i could go on.....but i won't!!! blimey i'm in a show off mood tonight :-)))))
