Would you want to keep your memories, so that you could change things, or would you just want to relive it, exactly eth same again ? |

Wow what a question. Well it'd be nice to go back and not make some of the mistakes that I have, could save a lot of tears, upset and anger. BUT, life's going ok right now, despite things in the past... maybe even because of things in the past? I think I'll stick with what I've done, try not to regret too much... and hope that my long-held philosophy is true and that everything does happen for a reason. Becx |

Well I don't agree with the 'everything happens for a reason' philosophy, but I do agree that our experiences (good or bad) make us what we are. I'd still change things though, I'm sure you'll see why Bec |

I'd go back re-live, see old faces I can hardly remember now, but wouldn't change a thing. Heather x |

I would want to keep my memories and go back to 1986 and be a better mother to my two children. Everything else bad as it was only shaped me and I shaped them. I could have been better I think! Julie xxx PS I have two wonderful grown up children I wouldn't change for the world but I could have given them a better start. |

All the bad things in my life started off good, so i must of been happy at some point with them, so i think i would just change the things that i could have done better. everything that has happened to me in the past has made me much wiser and more understanding and compassionate towards others. Some and some but if I could go back just once I would go back about 16 years and try and behave differently so that three things would hopefully have turned out differently:) |

This has been going over and over in my mind recently - if only I could have changed things for my Dad and FiL and they would still be here...but then everything would have to change, wouldn't it. Perhaps now it is how it is meant to be.... |

this is a really hard one as there are so many things that I wouldn't want to change, but that hinge on things in the past. everything I have done has led to me being exactly where I am now, certainly wouldn't want my kids not to exist and that would be the result of any obvious changes I could make. trying to think of the 'best time of my life' and that's hard too, probably when at college, young free and single, everything rosy and no responsibilities! Deffinately!!! back to 1985, what a year what a decade, I'm with Maz on this one, college, freedom, and fun, I think everyone would change something, you just remeber the good bits better than the bad, Daily routine kicks in and we all wish we could go back, and rewrite the book. Geoff. |
