Don't blame you about the pub bit Jen, Inverness the same so that was why we had a telly for them. Only had a burger van then but great atmosphere - one guy had a bit of a go about them so and so Scots (once we were out of it) and the rest told him to sit down and shut up because we were their hosts and friends! He sat! Got to go out, back in an hour |

I'm in the country about 20 miles from Aberdeen. Wouldn't go anywhere near a pub in Aberdeen while footie is on! during Euro 96 I worked for Scottish Power in town....10 football mad salesmen! When the Scotland/England game was on one Saturday I got sent home 5 hours early!.....Result! lol |

Where do you live Jen? I do know what it's like - I'm Scottish but in 1998 we had TV on specially so the English drivers could watch the matches without having to go to the pub because they got so much flak, also got lots of English mates |
