Elaine, just checked with Becky.....her favourite adds are basil and mint though she occassionally uses garlic, worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, curry, chives. She also likes to sprinkle paprika on before serving (like devilled eggs) - as this doesn't mix in well while cooking. Sometimes uses cream instead of milk, evaporated milk or even flavoured coffee creamers - these all tend to make it a bit sweeter, so only a little is needed. Just found out that she sometimes uses the frying pan method for fastness, but always adds a little milk/cream for moistness. Goes without saying that she doesn't add all these things at once!!

Elaine - bits of this and bits of that. Like I said I'm not that imaginative, and I don't pay too much attention, but it tastes good. I will ask her.

Margaret Report 22 Jun 2006 13:57

Sally, they stir it while it is in the pan, so it doesn't come out in one large circle.

Mix it all up Margaret and shove it in the microwave with a lid on for a couple of minutes.. Doing it in the frying pan sounds like an omelette to me......

I do mine in a pan like you, but without the milk. Liz

I have always mixed up the eggs with salt, pepper and some milk and cooked them in a pot on the stove. A friend adds different seasonings but I'm not that imaginative. We have always described this as the ''british way'' of cooking them. Over here, they just mix them up, season and cook them in a frying pan. They tend to be a lot drier than mine, but still good in a different sort of way. How do you do yours?
