Sorry :-) I have a local history book out, hopefully from Monday. Printers were a bit late. The synopsis is as follows: 'Criminal Wirral' is an intriguing and entertaining collection of some of the strangest, most despicable and comical crimes that took place on the Wirral peninsula from the Victorian era up until the early twentieth century. Daniel K. Longman's painstaking research has uncovered many fascinating cases that have been long forgotten, and he sheds new light on local causes celebres. The tales are supported by a number of maps with many contemporary and modern photographs, which help to bring these events and the people featured in them back to life. 'Criminal Wirral' will appeal to anyone who has an interest in the darker side of Wirral's history. I have a mini exhibition on at Birkenhead central library just to help tell locals about it's existance.

I set my display up at the library today. I have big board covered with laminated A3 sheets, a few pics from the book and a few cardboard book jackets. I'll be taking a pic for the photopage once it is completely finished early next week. I already had a few people today take a look whilst I was doing it. No doubt they thought I was just some librarian wannabe. I wish :-)
