Paul, even I don't have 55 pairs of shoes!!! lol However, I do not have enough hanging space in my wardrobe and have suggested to Chris that he clears out some of the clothes which no longer fit him so that I can have that space in his wardrobe. Perfectly reasonable request I thought but can't repeat his answer here, although it would qualify him for the Grumpy Old Men thread. Fred - teapot essential for a decent cup of tea. Mind you I'm the one paying for them lol plus two kids. I have to admit if I had the money then I'd probably own a lot more. |

LOL Elaine :-) Sorry Paul no lol (see previous post) I tend to wear boots or trainers in winter and either sandals or trainers in summer. |

My daughter completely emptied her room, when she moved out ... and she only took clothes with her !!! Unfortunately, I am very *practical* and independent. But hey, I'm happy and that's what counts ! Everyone is different ! I'm just not a 'fussy female' but wouldn't put other ladies down ! That's it, I'm not a 'lady' I'm a woman ! Elaine ;-) |

I wouldn't say *weird* Paul (she says shouting over the music !) Just some woman have better things to do than go shopping.... and therefore dress accordingly ! Even when I go to get the shopping, I go in Jeans and T Shirt .... it's not a fashion parade ... it's a chore ! Elaine ;-) I remember one friend dashed upstairs to change, before she took her little one to hospital for stitches, after a tumble ... I was gobsmacked ! |

well you two are just weird then. most women I know have dozens of pairs !! for the record three pairs of trainers one pair of converse 'boots' one pair of brown shoes one pair of black shoes one pair of black boots one pair of walking boots... At last counts Sharon had 47 pairs of shoes and abnout 8 pairs of boots, she's bought at least 4 pairs of shoes since... |

I'm not one for clothes Paul ..... .Eeeek, didn't mean that the way it sounds !! I'm not into fashion ... AT ALL ! Jeans and T Shirts with trainers or Boots. You don't catch me shopping with the girls.!! I know some men who spend hours in clothes/shoe shops ... but when they get to the chemist - well, that's it, I'm out of there - haven't got all day !! Elaine ;-) Have to admit, that if I know in advance that I'm going somewhere, I do tend to put makeup on and brush my hair !!! :-))) Not often nowadays ! People take me as they find me or not at all ! |
