I have nowhere near 55 pairs of shoes lol 4 pairs of boots 1 pair of trainers 4 pairs of shoes

My daughter completely emptied her room, when she moved out ... and she only took clothes with her !!! Unfortunately, I am very *practical* and independent. But hey, I'm happy and that's what counts ! Everyone is different ! I'm just not a 'fussy female' but wouldn't put other ladies down ! That's it, I'm not a 'lady' I'm a woman ! Elaine ;-)

LOL Elaine :-) Sorry Paul no lol (see previous post) I tend to wear boots or trainers in winter and either sandals or trainers in summer.

Mind you I'm the one paying for them lol plus two kids. I have to admit if I had the money then I'd probably own a lot more.

Paul, even I don't have 55 pairs of shoes!!! lol However, I do not have enough hanging space in my wardrobe and have suggested to Chris that he clears out some of the clothes which no longer fit him so that I can have that space in his wardrobe. Perfectly reasonable request I thought but can't repeat his answer here, although it would qualify him for the Grumpy Old Men thread. Fred - teapot essential for a decent cup of tea. And Paul, bags in a cup just won't do. Daisy

Fred .... What's wrong with a Cup, kettle and jar of instant coffee .. with sugar and milk as an option ? Bet by the time you have decided which coffee you may want, I'll have made mine, drunk it and done the hoovering ! .....but that's woman for you !! Elaine ;-)

Gonna have a grump about predictive texting on mobile phones. I've just bought a new one and predictive texting is set as default so when I come to write a text it starts guessing at what I'm typing. Apparently, it's supposed to be quicker and simpler than just it doing normally but I'm not convinced and you can never find the option to turn the wretched thing off. In fact, I had to phone someone who I know has the same phone as me in order to find out how you turn predictive texting off!

I dont like predictive texting either

That is annoying. My dad got confused with it when I was trying to show him how to text. lol :-)

I didn't say I didn't understand it Daisy, I just don't like it !!! its slows me down... Lucia... your dad is probably getting on a bit, it takes longer to learn new things as you get older... I'd guess... about 40-45 ? lol

Hi grumpys hi my Meercat where you been right frock wore one once when daughter got married 13 years ago still in wardrobe hated the thought of paying £55 for it, Shoes already done, Coffee instant but have a couple of really good coffee beans no grinder so Fred its yours if you want, but i cant beleive 55 pairs of shoes Paul where she keep them
