You don't seriously drink 2 litres of coke a day do you? I reckon if you cut that out that you would loose some weight. Why don't you try Weight Watchers? I joined at the beginning of the year and lost a stone, my Sister is still going and has lost over 2 stone - it's not that difficult either and I'm a really fussy eater. Kaye x |

I have lost so much weight in the past (and put it all back on) and lost it (and put it on) I'm sure you get the drift! I've lost so much in the past I shouldn't be here! My latest venture is hypnotism! Bought some CD's by a well known TV hypnotist, and started about 10 weeks ago. Have lost 16lb so far. It's not quick but if it's permanent who cares! I can eat what I want - the only problem is, he has obviously modified my mind not to want the really evil foods, but if I want a take away, I have one. The main features seem to be, Drink water, Eat when hungry, Stop when full, Eat slowly. But it is working, and I'm not on a diet!!!!! Unfortunately I've still got about 2st to go, but I can get into more clothes from the wardrobe. Suex |

The Paul McKenna programmes that have just been rrepeated again on Sky were good. He says to Eat when you are hungry, eat what you want, eat consciously and stop when you are full. If you slow the eating down it teaches you to know when you are full, so you eat less. Together with more excercise it does help. |

See now there is my issue..... I CAN'T eat when I get up..... I physically GAG, I really do have to wait at least 2 hours before I can put food in my body!! Daddy was exactly the same!! ;o( Sue..... I would say you're about the same size as me sweets so not that much to lose!! I wanna drop a stone Paul as most of it is on my chest!! Maybe I'll just have a reduction and solve the issue!! LOL!! xx |

Have quoted from the Telegraph on another thread. Todays second headline - 'on sale today, daily pill that helps to cut weight by 10%. Not read the article, cos i don,t need it, but the pill appears to be called Rimonabant. (Acomplia) Best of luck happy days |

The worst thing you are doing is not eating breakfast. You need to eat first thing to get your metobilism(?) going. When you do not eat your body goes into famine mode, it assumes that food is short so starts to lay down fat store ready for the famine. I always say to my children, you would not expect your car to start in the morning with no fuel so why do you expect your body to ?? Last year I followed you are what you eat diet , but not quite as obsessive as Dr Gillian, I lost a stone in 4 weeks. Buy yourself a juicer best £50 I ever spent! Ang x |

EAT BREAKFAST - even if its just one of them cereal bars. Taking in food in the morning is the signal for your body that you're up and about and it can start burning off energy. The longer you go without eating first thing the longer it convinces itself you're still sleeping. I'd be willing to bet that if the ONLY thing ou change about your lifestyle was having something to eat as soon as you get up, then you'd lose weight Z xx |

Walking is good Diana - and I don't mean strolling round the shops lolol - steady walking at a brisk pace that makes you slightly out of breath :O)) |
