Hyah Jean ... not heard it said in relation to yorkshire .... but am a londener by birth .... we have a lovely island ... spent lots of hols in wales and ireland never been to south coast been as far as exeter and saw a little of Dartmoor but my visit was curtailed cos of family death oh and went cruising on the norfolk broads for two weeks but long time ago could go on and on ... yes we have a beautiful island .... I think our land of Britain is beautiful everywhere been to Scotland, Ireland and England but when I cross that border back to Wales - yes there's a lump in the throat - its the hiraeth 'xpect. Dorothy

I live in England, London in fact a great place for Architecture, Theatre, Sightseeing and Atmosphere and Culture, don't know anyone that has been did't find something they enjoyed but like everywhere also some bad people or bad parts.

Well I have to say England first - can't beat the garden of England lol ............... but having had my first visit to Scotland this year and another in August - it's a tie :O)
