Being of the larger persuasion but fed up with Evans overpriced under styled clothes .I was recommended BON MARCHE and have found a really good selection of really nice styled clothes there. I have been complimented on my clothes & even asked if i have lost weight cos their clothes are so complimentary

Don't forget that the NEXT sale is at the end of the month. I find that Tescos is the best supermarket for children's clothes, their cheap and the quality is good.

Definately Has to be : 1) Primark-if your short of cash and want to look still trendy-very cheap but I'm afraid to say I find the quality is to. 6/10 2) Matalan-Not as cheap as Primark and not as much choice, quality slightly better than primark. 7/10 3) TK maxx-Will have to win in my choice, not always cheap but alot of designer labels, that are old season in the designer shop. Alot of continental stuff too. Very good. 9/10 Catherine xx

For the blokes, The Officers Club is a good place to look and there's major discounts all year round.

My favourite is New Look - they always have rails of 'sale' items and even some of things NOT in the 'sale' sometimes get reduced when you get to the till. I have bought jeans in there before - one pair was £5 the other £2 - both were higher prices on the ticket! I hate paying full price so I am a real bargain hunter. Also Matalan, Peacocks, Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda - but you have to be a bit canny at look at the quality of the item. M-i-l swears by Primark, but we don't have one here, she also likes QS, but I think they are better for kids. Next have outlet stores too - worth looking into. Maz. XX

Peacocks - got some nice t-shirts for £4 each the other day. Make sure you try clothes on first though - some of their stuff is on the skimpy side, Hubby got some trousers there with a 32' waist and they're too tight - all his other trousers with a 32' waist are fine and some are even a bit loose! Asda and Tesco are both good too - got myself a pair of flip flops in Asda for £5 and Hubby a pair for £1.50. Kaye x

Sometimes go to Harrogate for work and the shops are brill, been in Leeds today and the Next shop that sells ex-stock is fantastic for bargins. In Oldham tomorrow - not sure if the shops are good there - the on'es I've seen haven't been, sure someone will tell me different if anyone from oldham is on here Matalans can be ok - mainly for vest tops or t-shirts for in the daytime Joanne
