Just in response to Julie Frater's earlier comment re Primark. I went to the newest one in my area today in Maidstone - only opened recently............. disappointing. Ok yes - some nice looking stuff and fine if you are skinny or a hip young thing - but even the largest size 16/18 didn't look big enough - I vary between a 14/16 depending on the shop ...... Only thing I saw that I was tempted by was a pair of sandals - again small in size - i take a 4 but the pair i tried were a 5 - maybe they put the wrong size on them but for £10 i wouldn't have argued lol

For those in West Wales, SECONDS AHEAD. Shops in Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan. Think there is also one in Carmarthan. All clothes are seconds and you have to look at them a bit more closley and try them on but they are fantastic value. In England, ETHEL AUSTIN. Nightwear is good and also undies. Viv

Bon Marche - 70% off some items at present. Bargain rails at Marks - had a £40 pair of trousers once for £3 best bargain ever. Dorothy

Been shopping again at Bon Marche today, and our local Co-op has some nice things reduced too, also do Dash there. Used to like QS and had loads of bargains from there, but ours closed down a few weeks ago and the nearest one now is Sheringham. Primark are good but not much fits me in there, need the next size up from the largest they do. Always finding bargains at charity shops specially ones near posh areas! Bhs have a sale on and there are some nice things in there too. I do love shopping!
