Paul, I never met June but fprtunately have a couple of messages from her stored in 'my contacts'. She sounded like a lovely, caring lady who brought lots of pleasure to those who would normally have been over-looked on their birthdays. At least I got the opportunity to thank her for all her good deeds by email. I work in a primary school so will be unable to observe the 2 minutes silence on Monday but will certainly respect it in my heart. Aileenx

I could write pages and pages about her – her gentleness, kindness and compassion. Or about her sense of humour, her ready smile and those twinkling eyes. But no words could ever come close to capturing her essence Most of you knew June for her gift of making your special day even more special – hers were always the postings a lot of people looked for first. (and thank you so much to the gem who stepped in to continue the postings – THAT is what this site is all about – rallying together) Those of us who met Juney – well – it was like meeting someone you had known all your life. I count myself blessed to have known her - and will never forget her Shalom Juney, may God keep you in the palm of His hand

As everyone knows 11am today it will be the funeral of June one of the kindest most caring members of this site. I had the fortune of meeting June on a number of occasions and she became a very dear friend , When I was told the news about her I was numb and didnt know what to do or say all I did know was I would never see her happy smiling face at the meets again. The memory of June will Im sure stay with all of us that knew her and specially the ones that met her she was a wonderful lady and Im very proud to be able to call her a true friend. R.I.P June I found this poem and amended it for June I think its very fitting Goodbye Friend To June we must say goodbye She wouldn't want to hear us cry... A sweeter woman some never met In our hearts we'll never forget! The angels came to take her home, Now we are left on earth to roam. Her time was long, yet seemed too short To memories now we must resort. For everyone she had a smile And she loved to sit and talk awhile. Now in our hearts June still lives on Until our time on earth is gone... Then once again we'll join our friend Together in time that will never end! A very sad Paul
