Carol, when you see something like that, which you've never seen before, it's surprising what you do think of as far as it's uses. I tend to think that Roy has given the best explanation, seems to make more sense and, if it is a receiving antenna, then I imagine it's going to be there some time. Not that I mind, it's not bothering me, it's not on my property and it's not obscurring anything...........just had to know what it was. Like Hal said Cat's the name..........spyings the game lolol! Kris, Love it lol! one way to get your neighbours talking...good ice breaker if nothing else. Trouble is we see them so little.........He appears to be a little older than her.........and she seems to be a little dizzy lol! She sings and dances around the back garden at the drop of a hat......he was shouting at her the other day, they were having company over and he was busying himself making sure everything was just so, while she was off on one on her own pmsl.
