Joan, we don't live TOO far and that's the one I'm going to try and get her into. It would probably mean putting Jamie into Breakfast/After School club so I could run her in the car, but well worth it. Head teacher is going to write to Latymer in support of her application and Charlotte has been practising the tests. I really think she would LOVE it there. Maz. XX

thanks everyone :-))) I'll show them this thread too! Charlotte is very often too modest and doesn't like being told she is clever/pretty etc - hopefully she will see that she really does have something to be proud of! Maz. XX

No wonder you're proud Maz, some achievements!....and I love it that they play music, I think that's really good for children to learn some sort of instrument. I hope you make a real fuss of them because they remember this when they are older, mine do...

Just received theirs in an envelope :-))) Jamie (he has Asperger's) has received certificates for ... Excellent Work Habits High Achievement in Maths Ditto Reading High Achievement in Music (he is learning the Clarinet and will do his Grade 1 in December) Charlotte has received certificates for ... High Achievement in Reading Ditto Writing Ditto Maths Ditto Music (she has just done her Grade 1 Trumpet exam) Charlotte has also got a special award for Outstanding Achievement!
