I started off with great intentions, but didn't realise how much time consuming researching family trees can be. Once I found the GT board and all the super people, seem to spend all my spare time there. I often look in at the Trying to Find board just in case I recognise anybody. Ah, he senses losing his position, doesnt he. Have you had the manacles returned from him yet??? AND he is on his second formal warning after that break out the other night - I had to get over here to bring him back. It wasnt a pretty sight, seeing him wandering around in your water wings and that inflatable duck ring round him. I will still be requiring an internal enquiry as to just how he got pass the border guards and then managed not to sink with those chains hanging from his ankles. Definitely corruption somewhere inthe group.

Well, David re your aspirations to join the Tips group - now as it happens, with Glen (Turnips in his pants with tinsel) throwing a sickie to look after Mrs Glen for a while, there is a vacancy for a tips board gimp. You can wear your own knickers and tinsel isnt a necessity but Glen will pass his mask over to you for the duration of his absence. I should point out that (at the moment) this will be a temporary position only but who knows? Could you please supply your CV for our consideration.

Yeah David.... I can only speak for me but I'm definitely trailer trash. Could never, ever attain Tips Board status. I'm not clever enough but always on there reading the threads. Some of them are funnier than anything even the Monty Python team could dream up. The funniest one, I thought, and I've mentioned this before, is the 'visit' or potential 'visit' to Olde Crone last Christmas. Can never join them but my goodness I do enjoy them. Jean x.

The latter, I think, David. Some people were getting a bit sniffy about the amount of non-genealogical chat. This was understandable as most of us were still on dial up then. Gwynne

You're a pioneer Gwynne:)) I only tiptoe in and out shyly. But I have had lots of help:) It was a very different community back then wasn't it? But did we change when GT was born or was it created to accommodate the likes of us? ;)

Morning David, I still venture unafraid onto Records and Tips. I wear sensible shoes when I go there, though. I'm staggered at how many helpful people there are. I stayed in those parts when I first joined (well, there were only 2 boards then) and I recognised almost every name in those days. My how we have grown. Gwynne
