Just looked in, this one is going to get interesting.......My OH is superb as a soldier but leave him to run the house single handedly and the men in white coats would be coming. And I mean all the finances, playing united nations with the kids, entertaining the kids, ironing ,tidying,cooking, and thats all in one evening! Cazxxx

Don't want to get too serious as I imagine (hope) that this thread was intended to be light-hearted, but isn't the 'superior/inferior' argument part of the problem? It makes men and women behave like squabbling toddlers. We need each other in some form or another for the species to survive and I don't think science will ever change that. Surely, men and women complement one another and when they work together as a team, each respecting the others' strengths and weaknesses that life is most harmonious and most gets achieved. Utopia I know, but I can live in hope, can't I? :-)

Think back to your 'last word' thread Keith, and you'll see why this was a bad idea PMSL!!!!

Ahem!! *looks over top of new glasses at Keith* How would you men get by without us? Washing, ironing, cooking, cleaning, and making fun of when we get it wrong, (which is not often) to name but a few. Of course you need us women. Without us you wouldn't be here. And don't forget, with the advances of medical science, they are now able to manufacture sperm, so you are almost redundant anyway.

Of course not - men are making a mess of the planet all by themselves. Just look at who holds the power and you'll see what I mean. Let them get on with it, I say. :-) Don't all scream at once - my tongue is firmly in my cheek, though as in most things there is at least a grain of truth in what I say.
