I take Colpermin Tablets for my Irritable Bowel Syndrome - they are basically Peppermint Oil, they do work though. You mentioned that you've been suffering with bad trapped wind since you fell over or down the stairs (sorry can't remember which now), it's possible that something's not right with your back? Whenever I have problems with my middle back I have terrible trapped wind in my chest - like a knife stabbing sometimes. My Chiropractor always sorts me out though. It may be worth seeing a Chiropractor or Osteopath - could help with your Arthritis too. You could try a McTimony Chiropractor as they are much more gentle and wouldn't hurt you at all. Hope you feel better soon. Kaye x |

Hi Babs I know it's supposed to be for diarrhoea (can't spell it ) but I found K & M best thing out for trapped wind. A drop of that in water shifted it very quickly, like having a big hand inside, literally forcing it out. Always had it in the medicine chest, but haven't needed it for years. Jay |

Thought you had been given Colpermin tablets, but just looked up Colpramin and that's Peppermint Oil as well - if you don't get on with Peppermint make sure you check those tablets. I know I tend to recommend the Chiropractor for most things - but mine's worked wonders for me so it might be worth a try. Kaye x |
